Lovely, peaceful village with lovely beaches within walking distance. Recommend some form of your own transport (Car, motorbike or bicycle) to explore but there is a bus service to and from Morlaix and Lannion which was free to use and just walking or hiking is great to. In Locquirec village the restaurants were a bit weird with their opening times and could be a bit snobby so we found a place called Le Ti Punch which did lovely food and had a nice friendly atmosphere. I can't really say what my favourite place was as everywhere in the area we visited was lovely and had something of interest or fun though saying that a trip to Perros Guriec and then a boat trip out to various islands was great and wish we had time to have done some more of that type of thing

This extended old fishing village is in a superb location at the top of the bay. The old harbour is charming and has plentiful parking. There are several bars and restaurants on hand, most of which are unfortunately closed in October. A market is held on Wednesdays.

Easier to walk round the few shops, ice cream parlours etc.
Easier to walk round the few shops, ice cream parlours etc. than
driving a car.
We didn't eat in the town. We treated ourselves to the largest ice cream we have ever had at one of the ice cream parlours!
It is quite easy travelling round Locquirec but cum the summer it may
well be a different story.
No restaurants that we could find and had to travel along the coast
before we found one.

Take the walk Tour de la Pointe at low tide. Lovely views.
Take the walk Tour de la Pointe at low tide. Lovely views. Locquirec is on a promontory, has fine sandy beaches, many cafes and eating places. It is under an hour from Roscoff if you are coming from or going to the ferry from Plymouth.
Staying at L’Ardoisiere was one of the highlights of our trip to France. Laurent and Gerard are wonderful hosts, very welcoming and with lots of advice about what to see and do in the area. The house is stylish and comfortable and our room was also nicely decorated with a comfy bed.
Breakfast is second to none and we also had dinner, which was delicious.
The location is peaceful and the beach and Locquirec itself are walking distance away.
Highly recommended and we hope to return!
The hotel is very impressive standing in spacious grounds overlooking the sea. Marvellous location for walks and
lovely views - watching the tide go out or coming in.
Room medium size with two large windows overlooking garden and sea. Simply wonderful views.
VERY pleased to have a free car park.
The lady that serves breakfast each morning and does housekeeping is exceptionally kind lady. I really liked her. There is a gentleman who also runs the restaurant. He speaks very good English. He was very professional and kind. The hotel rooms were nice and very clean...just really, really hot.
The location of the Hotel is stunning. The blend of old world charm with up to date facilities was perfect. However, what really made the Hotel stand out from the crowd was the level of service, warm and professional, from everyone we interacted with.
The hotel is in a fabulous location overlooking the sea and estuary and market square in a lovely part of France. The restaurant on site is good and also reasonable value.
This is a stunningly beautiful location. The view from the room was exceptional. Breakfast and dinner were superb. Hotel staff were very accommodating.
