We loved so many aspects that we are already thinking of when we can return.
Beautiful property set among a vineyard. Spacious apartments for family of 4, 3 bathrooms, kitchen fully equipped with fresh cleaning supplies, single washer/ dryer, very comfortable beds, nice outdoors space for meals. We used the spa area - large indoor pool, moderately heated outdoor pool (in mid April it was unseasonably warm with outside 27c and pool was around 20C), all the staff were exceptionally friendly, and lots of activities to keep kids busy— kids club during our week, complimentary tennis court that could be rented, ping pong , pétanque, free bikes for use. I read reviews of complaints about the food though we found it to be a good price/ quality ratio. We were traveling with a baby so ordered in and everything arrived well and on time.

This is a beautifully decorated hotel that truly deserves the label boutique. The public areas are welcoming and chic, and there was a lovely sitting room area just off the breakfast room (with a small honesty bar). Check in was quick and the staff were friendly (some staff did not speak English, but it was manageable if you knew a knew a few words of French).
Breakfast was continental (no hot options) but the high quality selection of meats, cheeses and pastries was more than ample. Fresh orange juice and a comprehensive selection of teas and coffees were available. Breakfast was available 8am til 11am, which I thought was particularly generous and allowed for a good lie in.
The room was, again, very nicely presented with gorgeous high ceilings and huge windows. The bed was comfy, linens were of a good quality, as were the towels. There was a stocked mini fridge, but the prices were surprisingly high. Shower room and separate toilet were clean and well stocked (hairdryer, robes, shower gel etc). Air con was great and very quiet. Wifi worked well throughout the hotel.
The pool area is small but perfectly formed, with several loungers/chairs. Towels are provided. We visited in early October so the pool area lost the sun by 11am but we still enjoyed an afternoon dip.
The hotel is about a 15 min uphill walk from the train station (there's a bus to/ from the airport that leaves three times a day. €2 per trip). The main squares/restaurants are approximately a 10/15 minute walk.
Located in Béziers, a 13-minute walk from Beziers Arena, Hôtel du Champs de Mars features views of the garden. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a terrace.

For The cost the room was clean and newly renovated but the neighborhood is less intersting. The owner seems to be making an effort to upgrade.
