One of my favourite places to stay, makes a pleasant change to see the actual owner who adds the personal touch to your stay. Attention to detail is what makes you return.

Excellent location right behind the high street, high quality facilities with very friendly and informative owners. Good continental breakfast options.
The room was clean and tidy, the beds were good.
The windows had child safety features, the heating, hot water and bath/shower was fine.
All in all it was a great night's stay at a very fair price.
We were all very happy 😊

Hotel was great with wonderful views.
Hotel was great with wonderful views. But the breakfast at the service station is terrible. Do yourself a favour and travel 5 mins south to a much much better option. The next junction south has a truckers cafe just off the main road with ample parking. the food was brilliant and well priced. We will definitely be going back for some more of their breakfast on option.
This hotel is perfect as a long-distance stopover. Despite being situated at a service station just off the M74 the location is beautiful with lots of wildlife around. The room was quiet and very clean, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom also clean and well-equipped with bath/shower, shaver socket and excellent lighting. The receptionist, Lynne was welcoming and helpful.
Handy hint – stop off in Moffat (south of here) for cheap fuel, and for food in the 'Rumbling Tum' cafe.
Very clean, comfortable and everything provided that you would expect.
The staff were extremely pleasant and could not have been more helpful. The surrounding views were stunning and lovely walks up nearby hills.
The temperature in the rooms was spot on and we slept very well. We hope to visit again soon as very convenient for local attractions but also visited Edinburgh Christmas Markets from here at a lot less cost than the Edinburgh hotels.
The price was very appealing, so therefore our expectations were not high.If you just want a basic room for a one night stopover in summer time then this hotel would be fine and very low priced, but I would not go back during the winter unless the place has had a refurb and facilities modernised.
As usual this hotel guarantees a good night's sleep. We often travel during the day from Derbyshire to the Edinburgh area and this hotel is ideal for an overnight break in the journey back home. The location is quiet and the rooms are clean, comfy and spacious and usually at a reasonable price.
Quick, efficient check in. Great staff. Room is a bit dated but very clean and overlooking the green fields and rolling hills. You can see sheep are grazing outside. Great detail for a roadside hotel. Room had everything I needed including a kettle and mugs.
The Days Inn at Abington, Scotland has a super location. It is located next to a super service area which offers all types of food, general store and a furl station. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
This is a basic hotel but in a very good location if you need an overnight stop on a trip up north. It's very good value for money. Plenty of space for walking the dog outside. Morning coffee from Starbucks at the services next door but was a bonus.
The location was handy for our trip. Dog friendly. Size of family room was decent. Staff were friendly. Great communication. The building is better sound insulated than most other hotels - we couldn't really hear noises from any other rooms.
I slept like a baby for the first time in weeks. I don't know if it was the drive from Essex, but I hit the pillow and was out like a light. Also, the location does wonders to the hotel's benefit, as the view was stunning.
Very friendly and efficient. Great price. Perfect for a quick overnight stop. Didn't charge us for dogs. Good dog walking area close to hotel. Starbucks open for coffee at 0600 as we left. Perfect.
Requested a quiet room and was allocated one which was very quiet indeed. Staff are super-friendly and I can highly recommend this hotel. Excellent value for money too.
