Craigavon Cottage, hotel in Ballachulish

Located in Ballachulish and only 6.7 km from Loch Linnhe, Craigavon Cottage provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

The cottage is super comfortable with gorgeous views of the mountains, loch and if you get lucky like we did, deer. Everything you need to dine in if needed. Lots of streaming services if your in at night which I rarely see at other places I stayed. Kimmy, the host couldn't be more friendly or delightful to deal with. Can't rank these guys highly enough. Best interaction and stay I've had so far in using Booking.com all these years. They're amazing.

Aos Sí Lodges, hotel in Ballachulish

A recently renovated chalet set in Ballachulish, Aos Sí Lodges features a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

We just had a wonderfully peaceful stay in these beautiful chalets. Let me tell you, the hosts of Aos Si will go way above and beyond to take care of you. Our kids in the US wanted to surprise us with some special food, drinks, flowers, etc and were able to get ahold of Edward at Aos Si. He did a magnificent job of making their idea into a reality - It was such a fabulous surprise that only happened because he cares about his guests. You don't get that kind of service just anywhere. The chalets are beautifully appointed. I loved the claw-foot tub. So relaxing. We wish we could've stayed much longer!

Brand New! Bagpipers Luxury Hideaway at Ard Craig House Glencoe, hotel in Ballachulish

Boasting mountain views, Brand New! Bagpipers Luxury Hideaway at Ard Craig House Glencoe features accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 6.6 km from Loch Linnhe.

The cottage/apartment had recently been renovated and it looked very modern and beautiful. The bed and comforter were very comfortable, everything we needed was available, there was a washer/dryer, the living room was super nice, it felt very luxurious. There was a place to park the car, a well-equipped kitchen, and a huge TV (that we didn't use). Tony was super nice and accommodating and helped us get dinner reservations which seemed to be in short supply. We wished we had planned to stay more than one night.

Glencoe Youth Hostel, hotel in Ballachulish

Set in one of Scotland’s most spectacular and historic glens, not far from Glencoe village, this alpine-style youth hostel offers a range of comfortable accommodation.

Awesome view from our pod. We stayed there as a couple with our dog and can't speak for the rooms in the main building. Our pod was wonderful and nicly decorated. The double bed is really very small so you better enjoy a good cudle 😉 very small space but very nice and definately recommended. Thomas, the hostel's boss is very helpful, friendly and takes care if everything.

A great village to base yourself in. Lots of activities on offer to suit all interests and a number of eateries to choose from. You don't need to travel that far to outer lying villages which also have well established set ups for tourists/ visitors.

Ballachulish is a small town in a great location - so much good hiking near by. The best thing about the town itself is the Laroach Restaurant. The dishes were so unusual, interesting, and tasty. Try the sweet potato soup if it is offered.

Annamarie was the perfect hostess - she provided a very warm welcome Nothing was too much trouble -she provided medicinal aid for my wife who was recovering from severe case of bronchitis The B & B is located in the most beautiful surroundings with mountains and lochs with exceptional views A short distance up the road is the Glen Coe Visitor Centre which is well worth a visit.... Recommend a 3 night stay particularly if the weather gods provide sunny and fine weather

attractive village next to a loch.

attractive village next to a loch. Handy reasonably short drive to Glencoe chairlift. Good place to stay for winter sports enthusiasts because if the mountain closes for bad weather Ballachulish has some good walks down by the loch and in the woods behind at low altitude so milder and more sheltered from the wind. so there is something to do and enjoy. Good spar shop to get supplies if you are self catering.

Craig Moray Cottage An immaculate, self-catering cosy cottage within easy reach of the various attractions in Ballachulish, including the local Co-Op. This lovely and comfortable accommodation was one of the few places that actually allowed us to stay one night only, as most places have a 2 night minimum stay requirement. Thank goodness we found this little place! We were so comfortable there and had everything we needed. We would go back in a heartbeat! A huge thank you to Anthony and Mairi.

There is only one guestroom on the first floor. The room is small, but you get a "private" entry, hallway, bathroom, and kitchenette. You almost feel that you have your own private small cottage. Everything has been nicely remodeled and is exceptionally clean. The bathroom is modern and clean also. The owner Sonja is super nice and conscientious. The location is great, and it is quite easy to walk to downtown Ballachulish. (Use the grassy short cut path just across the street)

This was in such an amazing location in Glencoe. Surrounded by the stone mountains. like something out of a fairy tale. My daughter and I walked the West Highland Way for a few days but then had to give into blisters and tired feet. This was such a great place to relax and hang out while my sister finished that days hike. They have a Restaurant and a couple of bar areas that were really fun to hang out at and get a great bite to eat or drink.

the house and room/bathroom was absolutely terrific. the owners went above and beyond to make us comfortable, inviting us to enjoy their outdoor area, offering us countless refreshments and offering suggestions of nearby restaurants. the hosts even made us breakfast for the road since we couldn’t stay. they also supplied us with water and snacks for the road! they are lovely people and we would stay again in a heartbeat!

the facilities were tired, I was here some years ago and was disappointed with the bar - this may be because the dining room/restaurant was closed. If it was open that may have made a big difference. everything was clean but felt a little tired, but then you have the best location in the world!!

We had a unique stay - a fantastic massage for an hour each in the lodge with cheese and Prosecco. Situated just outside of Glencoe. We bought some provisions as it’s a drive to local restaurants that need to be booked.
