Good location with train station and ferry stop close by.
Staff generally helpful and friendly on the whole but found the guy who checked us in (manager?) was a bit over familiar and even a bit unprofessional at one point when blaming one of the younger staff for a food order issue in front of hotel guests.
Located on the shores of Loch Lomond within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Cameron House is a 20-minute drive from Glasgow Airport.

Helpful locals.
Clean and tidy streets.
Pubs, cafe’s and shops doing a great trade.
Many outdoor facilities to choose from.
Shopping outlet by Loch Lomond a brilliant place to visit. The wee eaterie by Pavers Shoe shop is great for food, drinks, people watching, views and a good venue for men, when the ladies go shopping 😄.
This wee toon was rammed with walkers and “Kilties” ( people assisting the walkers and doing a great job of traffic management etc. keeping pedestrians and drivers safe , throughout the whole w/e ).
Outstanding wee toon.

Beautiful scenery on the walks to Loch Lomond shores, if you can get on the boat tour then I would definitely recommend, so tranquil. The Tullie Inn is directly next to the train station and across the road is the boat trips booking office. We’ve stayed here a few times. Pleasant staff, cosy, comfortable and clean spacious rooms.

We have stayed there before. Like where it sits on the Loch.
We have stayed there before. Like where it sits on the Loch. Easy access to parking. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Food good and great variety. The only downside is there is no sitting area away from the restaurant at night. Could do with a little bar to have a quiet drink before going to bed. You can easily access anywhere else in the Balloch area.

Apart from the House of Fraser shopping centre there was not much else. Ideal for walking an=round the area but the town itself is in need of investment as it was pretty shabby, poor example of the gateway to Loch Lomond

Small pharmacy, gift shop too
Need more shops
The apartment was very spacious and comfortable, within easy walking distance from Balloch. Lovely to park outside, there was a table and chairs outside at the front too. Lots of restaurants and shops in Balloch and you can walk to the river and catch a ferry or tour of Loch Lomand, also near to Loch Lomand Shores, worth a visit if you like water sports, adventure playground for children, Sea Life and a few shops.
It was lovely to have space, rather than cramped hotel rooms great value for money and very clean.
We could not have asked for more! Sheildaig Farm was absolutely perfect. Our room was so well-appointed, from the breakfast/coffee/tea/snack provisions (which supplemented the cooked breakfast) with fresh fruit and chocolate to the little fan for some extra air movement to the little hotel slippers. Comfortable true king bed. Lesley and the precious pups Ellie and Penny were so welcoming and friendly. Gorgeous adjoining field for walking and taking in loch views. The property is absolutely idyllic.
Everything about the hotel and the facilities were top class. Excellent service from all the staff in the hotel and they were all very polite and helpful.
The room was super comfy and very spacious. The Grill restaurant for dinner was great and very tasty food. Breakfast served in the Grill in the morning was unbelievable, one of the best I’ve had.
A night away to remember after asking my girlfriend to marry me.
It was available on short notice, and the keys were in a combination box outside the front door of the apartment building, so we didn't have to arrange an arrival time with the host. The value for the price was very good, and the beds were comfortable and clean. It was in walking distance of the main street of Balloch. The host has been helpful in returning a friend's cell phone that got left behind.
Beautiful little cottage, which was a short walk from all local attractions in Balloch. The cottage itself had everything you needed for a short break, and Cathy, who was a friendly lady, was only a phone call away should you need anything. If you are visiting Balloch, the two hour island cruise is a must do. The Queen of the Loch and The Tullie Inn are great places to eat and are reasonably priced.
For a family quickly touring the UK for 10 days, this "glamping" experience served as a marvelous introduction to Scotland outside its cities and towns. The hosts went out of their way to ensure that each family member, whether young or old, had a relaxing and enjoyable time. That served to make the experience even more memorable.
breakfast was served quickly and hot the room was cosy and very clean excellent showering facilities . Had dinner on our first night and it was excellent had to compliment the chef Balloch country park at the rear of the hotel all and all a really enjoyable three day visit
Staff were very helpful from connecting two separate bookings to the service in the restaurant and dealing with a late night arrival. Hotel is well located for Balloch, the main road and also the train station into Glasgow
I have been coming to Balloch for 30 years and always stayed in hotels. No more! This is a little home from home. Clean, well decorated, well equipped near to town with own little outdoor area to enjoy the river. Perfect!
Property was very clean
Great location for Balloch and Loch Lomond
Property only finished a year ago so everything is like new
Hot tub and rear area of lodge No.2 was excellent.
Pet friendly
We will return again
Hotel was actually separate from the Queen of the Loch building, but it made for a quiet room away from the restaurant. Room was simple, but fairly comfortable. Good location if you're exploring Loch Lomond area.
Comfy bed and spacious room! Super helpful staff and friendly locals in the pub downstairs. good food and drink selection. Loved the location next to the park and within walking distance to Balloch Castle!
Beautiful location. The breakfast area and restaurant were stunning and the food was lovely. Staff were all really friendly and polite. The aesthetic of the hotel is spot on, the decor is lovely.
The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is perfectly located to explore Balloch and the Loch. The rooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable.
Excellent stay at the hotel! Lovely big room, comfortable double bed, nice shower and toilet facility, quiet area, ovely staff, central location in Balloch and easy to get to Loch Lomond.
Breakfast was excellent, buffet style but great quality. Love the Great Scott Bar and Cameron Grill. Staff very helpful and friendly, gorgeous hotel in a fantastic setting.
we had a family suite with two bathrooms. on site parking and a restaurant. Hotel is downtown so walking distance to a nice park. Lots of space in the room to spread out.
