Great location for South West coast path walkers - right by the harbour and with sea views.
Decent sized room with a large and very comfortable bed.
As you might expect, the beer was great! The evening meal was very good pub grub and we had an excellent cooked breakfast.

Loved the location, cleanliness and overall feel of the Appartment - much more spacious / light and airy than in the photos.
Home from home ...perfect base for us.
Handy to have dishwasher and washing machine - everything was included - even some tea/ coffee and milk and biscuits to set us up.
Supermarket not in beer itself but very short journey and not problematical at all.
Carparking was straightforward and easy - and included in the stay at a nearby carpark.
Bed was super comfy and lovely views of the high street and surrounding village.
Good storage for us. Room for muddy boots/ wet coats etc
Gem of a place - minutes to the beach - highly recommend the walk to branscombe ....lovely feel to the place.

Very good indeed, super comfortable ground floor room, with view. Had breakfast and evening meal there, dining room is beautiful, tastefully arranged plants and flowers. View over a lovely garden and hills. Charming hosts, one of which is a talented chef. What lovely prepared and tasty food it was. We stayed 3 days and nowhere was too far away to drive to seaside. We took our little dog, large grounds to walk and she loved the space to run around away from the house. They have everything there, including a pool. Just perfect.

Beer is just gorgeous. Something for everyone, walk the coastal path, a pebble beach to skim stones, a playground with an amazing view of Beer beach, a quintessential unspoilt fishing village with a variety of lovely shops, gifts, clothes, art, a wine bar and a few pubs too. Most recently in October I drank at The Anchor and ate at Gina’s - the pizza was great, the atmosphere buzzing and the owner so helpful and considerate. Been visiting for over 20 years so it must be doing something right!

Beer is a quaint village with a beautiful unspoilt beach, used by the local fishermen. You can buy fish direct from them by the beach. You can hire deckchairs and beach huts at very reasonable rates and there are 3 cafes actually on the beach. The village is very picturesque and has a small assortment of shops and eateries and two branches of an excellent gallery, selling glass, ceramics and paintings, by both local and nationally known artists. There are several cliff top footpaths.

A very quaint and pretty tiny town.
A very quaint and pretty tiny town. A must for walkers and lovers of coastal paths and rugged scenery. It is steep in places, so would be difficult in places for the infirm. There are buses to Seaton and to Branscombe both great places to visit.

Anchor Pub beautiful location just terrible service not enough staff for food and drinks.
Dolphin Hotel used to be lovely but has no atmosphere any more since new staff.
Thank goodness for the Barrel of Beer Pub where all the locals go.
Plenty of buses to go to other locations.
Our stay in Belmont House Beer was lovely.
The room was smaller than we thought, but we did not mind. We thought it was cute and cosy!
The bed was comfortable, and we slept really well.
The room had a selection of tea bags as well as coffee and hot chocolate. There was also a bottle of water and some sweets.
The location was perfect..We were a few steps away from the beach and the centre.
We didn't see the host(s), but before our arrival, we were given all the instructions for the check-in and check out, and it was easy.

The Hotel is centrally located in a beautiful street in Beer and very close to the beach. The hotel provides parking spaces which was very convenient. Although centrally located our room was quiet. Breakfast was very nice. We ate one dinner there and all dishes were good. Beer itself is close to several nice villages nearby e.g. Lyme Regis and directly one can take a hike up the cliffs with fantastic views on the villages around, the coast and the ocean.
The location and size of the room was amazing. There is a limited amount of parking, but a council car park is just up the hill a bit. The breakfast staff were a lovely young group of people who took care of us.
The room was beautifully clean and everything was well presented.
It was so easy to walk anywhere in Beer and even walk to Seaton if you want. Easy access to the beachfront and local amenities.
Excellent breakfast. We both tried the "Beer" traditional English breakfast of sausage egg bacon mushroom and baked beans.
All freshly cooked and served piping hot. Room was clean and ready when we arrived. Hotel right in the centre of Beer.
Nice view over the town from our window.
Hosts very friendly , chatty and willing to help residents.
We loved Colebrooke House and Beer! Such a beautiful little seaside town and our room had a lovely view up the hill and was spotless, also had a kettle and tea coffee/biscuits. Dave was an friendly host, definitely would come back.
Very friendly couple running the hotel - and great breakfast. We were in the smallest room with a separate toilet - which is fine for a short stay and a bargain compared to nearby hotels. Perfect location for a look around Beer.
It's good to go back to a hotel where you see the same staff, tells you it's a good place to work as well as stay. It's a comfy, cozy hotel where every room has a sea view where you can sit and watch the waves.
we liked the look of the property, the position and the surroundings.having never been to the hotel or to beer before. both were beautiful and would definitely recommend both, and for sure we'll be back.
Jane the host was super nice ad helpful and the room was very cosy and clean with a great shower. It's also a perfect location to explore Beer which is an adorable village, will definitely come back!
Great choice of breakfast and the four we sampled were delicious. Location amazing, but that’s why we booked this, being familiar with Beer. All staff were very friendly and helpful.
Lovely countryside views, not far to walk to town and beach. Clean and everything you need for a short stay.
Liked that we had parking, which is at a premium in Beer.
Our room was lovely. Compact but ok. Staff were delightful and very helpful. Beer is such a surprise with the wide pebble beach at the end of narrow laneways.
Location, history of the hotel in Beer with the photos etc really lovely.
Great to have function rooms. Will be looking at arranging something here next year.
