We hired the boathouse apartment plus one double room. We really liked the location of the boathouse. The apartment is lovely with two terraces with seating. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need for a short stay.

Looks nicely and recently refurbished. Very clean and lovely room decor with comfortable bed/cushions. Good breakfast options. Great central location however with that comes high street noise as the windows are single glazed sash, shame they weren't upgrade as part of refurbishment.

Only stayed the one night but it met all our expectations. We were in Room 4 (twin bedded); a large room with the nice touch of a dressing area as you go through into the bathroom (large shower - plentiful hot water). Plenty of room to put the suitcase out of the way and a large full length mirror. A nice touch in the bathroom - a shower mat. So many properties do not provide these but very welcome when they do. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets, milk and a couple of packs of biscuits. A large bottle of water was provided too. Very comfortable mattresses too. As it was a Sunday, breakfast was served between 8.30 to 9.30 am. Pleasant dining room and good service - nothing was to much trouble. The B&B is a short walk (10 minutes) to the sea front and we ate in the recommended "Ship Inn". We did not book but at 6.00 pm, the staff easily fitted us in. Excellent food with a pleasant view overlooking the sea. Lovely walk towards the twin towers of Reculver.
Would return for another stay should we visit this area again.

The booking was for an adult and a child, but the room only had one double bed. As two females they felt very uncomfortable with the atmostphere in the place and so left immediately and found other accommodation. They did not stay at Sturry Road in the end.

Location was perfect for us, just a short taxi in to town, we would have walked but didn’t have the time due to booking this outstanding place very late, we loved ever single thing about this beautiful spot, surrounded by heaps of wildlife, cows grazing, ( I could go on ) couldn’t of been happier, we will definitely return here on a more planned visit and certainly more than a one night stay, we love Whitstable any way,but now we’ve found “Hillview” it’s the icing on the cake.
