One of the most beautiful rooms I've stayed in, that's for sure. The breakfast was really nice too.
Opposite Wolverhampton’s pretty West Park and set in a Victorian building, A Park View Hotel has original features, high ceilings and large windows throughout.

Our first time visiting Bilston and it was a very enjoyable experience.
We stayed overnight to attend a gig by the amazing band the Superskas at The Robin.
The venue was great in itself with friendly staff and customers.
We walked around the Bilston area the next day (5 minute walk from the hotel we stayed at)and were surprised to see how many different and interesting shops there were. There were also plenty of places to eat to suit all pockets. We chose the Wetherspoons as we only had a snack but will explore other eateries when we return to visit the market.
Well worth a visit!

I didnt like this hotel at all.
Staff were awful chucking the keys on the bed in the room from the room door. Asked about breakfasts to be told no.
Rubbish up the side boarded up windows where they had been smashed.
Staff no English speaking or just the basics.
Area is somewhat of a mess
Hard to find as hotel all boarded up around it.
Car park isnt a car park.
Mouldy bathrooms.
This is one of them ones that the pictures look good but its awful.
Didnt feel safe at all.
Crazy people hanging around outside.

On a Saturday evening it was dead.
On a Saturday evening it was dead. Everything appeared to be locked up with metal grills on doors and windows. I had to walk about a mile from my hotel in the town centre before I found a takeaway.
I wouldn't rush back.

Good market most days and a High Street with the usual shops - Home Bargains, Heron Foods, Iceland, Argos and a Wetherspoons opposite Lidl., several estate agents and charity shops. Being pedestrianised is good.

Certainly not a salubrious scenic area, but, if you just want a nice comfortable, clean place to sleep, OYO is a good choice, especially as it is very economical. Don’t be put off by the first impression of a rather run down area, the interior of the building is spotless.

An Austerity UK impoverished town, but everyone we came into contact with there were friendly and the general feel of the town was amiable enough. Didn't go in for fine dining since there wasn't any, dinner at Wetherspoons, breakfast at Greggs (the recommended Metro Cafe was closed) - cheap and cheerful, with good public transport links to Wolverhampton, Birmingham and the Black Country.
