To be honest when I booked I hadn't realised that it was a pub and my wife was not very happy with me and I almost cancelled........thank goodness I didn't as we found everything to be great ..........We had met relatives on the way up from Cornwall for lunch and had decided that we wouldn't have dinner but having glanced at the menu decided to have a snack which turned into a full meal as it was so delicious and well presented. The breakfast was equally great and we will certainly be back sometime in the future. (Can't wait !)

Would highly recommend staying at the Horse and Groom Inn. Room was very comfortable and the bar and restaurant were excellent . We had to leave early on our final morning and we were provided with a packed lunch.NigelUnited Kingdom
