Being chased for payment of dinner tab when I had retired in...
Being chased for payment of dinner tab when I had retired in my room, when I had offered to pay earler was rude and off putting. This appears to be because there would be no staff in the morning to take payment which I discovered when I turned up to breakfast to find staff were not in until 10am and I was leaving just after 8am for a conference. So disappointing. A comfortable roof over my head for one night but otherwise just the bare bones of a service. Evening meal was good and tasty but vegetarian option was tiny portion. All in all, I left feeling hungry.StuartUnited Kingdom
