Compact but comfortable, and had everything which was needed, apart from decent connectivity. Apart from that, one person for two nights was fine, and would also be suitable for a couple.
A 5-minute walk from the promenade on Colwyn Bay, the West Point Hotel Bed and Breakfast has a beautiful location on the coast of North Wales.

The bed is comfy , the breakfast was good (English breakfast), the staff was really nice and welcoming and the room smelled and was cleaned. The hotel was really quiet when we were staying.
On Llandudno seafront, The Marine Hotel enjoys stunning views across the Irish Sea, and offers rooms with attached bathroom and free WiFi in public areas.

Although part of Colwyn bay Rhos on sea could not be more different from main Colwyn bay town both old and new.While I found main Colwyn bay quite dated and in need of some tlc,Rhos on sea itself is a delightful place to be with the beach and surrounding properties along with no overcrowding making in my opinion the little gem it is.

We stayed in Rhos on Sea at the Whithall B&B which was cosy with lovely staff and welcoming atmosphere, also a fab breakfast. The Beach which is opposite, was clean and tidy and is currently (Aug 2023) undergoing redevelopment/upgrade of the promenade. There are a handlful of local shops and amenities, as well as a couple of lovely bars and tap rooms. We highly recommend a visit to Grape to the Glass, a lovely cosy wine bar/tap room. The staff were fabulous and had a wealth of knowledge regarding the wine etc that they also sell by the bottle/can. Also a walk along the coast approx 2 miles towards Penrhyn Bay where there is the lovely Beach Cafe

Lovely area so close to so many things to do, all the beaches are really clean with brilliant views. We visited Rhyl, Llandudno, Tonwy, Rhos on sea, Conwy, the Welsh Mountain zoo, the local castles,the local Farm Park and also just stopped along the coast road to access the beach for the kids. Would definitely recommend! And would recommend a trip to Hickorys to eat out which is just along the road!

Colwyn Bay didn’t have much to offer.
Colwyn Bay didn’t have much to offer. We arrived on Saturday evening and couldn’t find any restaurants open where we were! We ended up driving out to Llandudno for food instead. It was a good base for seeing other areas. The only thing in Colwyn Bay worth visiting is the Welsh mountain zoo.

Rhos on Sea is a delightful seaside town in its own right with easy access to other great holiday places. Within easy reach of Llandudno for shops and Theatre Cymru plus West Bay, Deganwy and Conwy. The A55 allows for an easy trip to Anglesey too. In Rhos Fortes often has a wi-fi connection and eating at Pen y Bryn is always a delight. Wet weather shopping at Tweedmill and Afon Wen near St. Asaph.
Location superb being just 30 seconds walk from the seafront and 7 minutes walk from the town centre. Free on-street car parking right outside the property ideal. Room very clean and spacious and had everything we wanted - really good shower, TV, free WIFI, tea and coffee and biscuits. Really good choice of food options at breakfast - the cooked breakfast was delicious. Mike and Leslie were excellent hosts and we enjoyed several long chats with them. Will definitely stay at the Colbourn when next in Colwyn Bay.
Good reasonably centrally located 1st Floor flat in Colwyn Bay. Served our short stay needs & requirements, visiting a relative very well indeed
Comfortable bed, reasonable sized shower room Kichen & living room. All you could want for a short to medium break. Pedro kept us updated with access information. Had a pint of milk in the fridge, Oat cakes, tea & coffee to hand on our arrival which was a nice touch after a long journey.
Also the flat was no more than 15 minutes walk from the centre of Colwyn Bay.
Convenient central location - just a short walk to the beach
and shopping area, and near the coastal expressway;
Very spacious room with comfortable bed, good wardrobe,
and welcome tray for tea/coffee, with lovely Welsh biscuits;
Breakfast has a wide choice and is well served;
Wi-fi is excellent and reliable, and the entrance hall is full of
interesting information and leaflets for those visiting North
Wales for the first time, or looking to explore further.
All-round very good value. Thank you.
Everything: The host, the house, the location... Kevin welcomed us at the house and prepared a wonderful welcome package for the kids (and us). The house is in a perfect condition, very cosy and well equipped, including a lovely Garden Room. The seaside and a bus stop are within walking distance. We enjoyed discovering Rhos on Sea, Colwyn Bay, Llandudno and Snowdonia National Park. We can't recommend it enough and hope to be back again soon!
Property was immaculate. Set in a quiet area but still close to walk to the Promenade and town. Spacious with separate sitting area and kitchen. Fridge pre stocked with all that you need and breakfast was fantastic
No issue to accommodate my wife having gluten intolerance
Excellent base for exploring area
Owner Jane great help and provides mobile number to contact her
Would highly recommend to any couple making a visit to the area
Great accommodation in a excellent, quiet location, fantastic views of Colwyn Bay, with car parking right outside.
The King's suite is fully self contained and feels like a posh hotel suite, better than some 5 star hotels I have stayed in.
The full Welsh breakfast was outstanding and the Host was very welcoming and really goes the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay.
Lovely friendly reception. Room clean with plenty of fresh towels, tea and coffee, tv worked fine. Nice shower and hot water. Fan in room. Not far from shops and a few pubs but in a very quiet area. Breakfast was the best I've ever had. Items sourced from local butcher and you can tell the difference. Would highly recommend a stay here.
The place was absolutely clean , very good location just 10 mins drive from Llandudno and other key sight seeing locations. Right on the high street of Colwyn Bay.
The apartment is very good and has everything needed for a family stay . The bed was comfortable and the heating was spot on
I really enjoyed my stay.
Great location. A stone's throw from the promenade. Walking distance to Colwyn Bay. Very quiet and comfortable apartment.
A very well equipped kitchen.
Ground floor and level access from car park was ideal for our needs.
Would definitely stay again.
Excellent hotel. Spacious room, mega clean

Mike and Leslie the proprieters are very friendly and helpful.
The best hotel we have stayed in when visiting the Llandudno/Colwyn bay area
Highly recommended
Very accessible from surrounding areas.
Very quiet relaxing clean and looked after. lot of effort put in to ensure best stay possible.
Would recommend this place instead of hotels or that. Everything needed in one spot
Brilliant B and B in a great location to explore the local area, Colwyn Bay has a lovely promenade. The room and breakfast were excellent, we were very well looked after, would definitely stay again.
