The chalet was clean and decorated lovely, you had a welcome book with all the information you could need for the stay including local attractions, restaurants and a guide to the property. The staff that we spoke to was so welcoming and friendly and provided a rundown of the pod and facilities. Breakfast was delivered to the chalet and had the most amazing fresh croissants. There were animals on site such a pigmy goats, chickens, ducks, sheep etc which you could feed and pet if you wished. There was a fire pit for each property and you could buy firewood for if you wanted to enjoy the night.

A quiet week with lots to do.

A quiet week with lots to do. Was quiet with locals rather than tourists around. Would suggest to leave till after Easter time as gets busier and places are open more frequently. I am related to people who live in the town so know more things to do

Lovely wee town, so picturesque and very friendly.

Lovely wee town, so picturesque and very friendly. Shame the options to eat out are a bit limited with just the one hotel at the moment (which was by the way lovely). Hopefully some of the other eating establishments will be back up and running soon as it is a super wee place to visit and the variety would only add to the experience. So interesting and lots of nice walks and history to absorb. Particular mention of Calluna ladies boutique who were open sat and sun and couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Will def visit again.

Restful little town with lovely views of Cromarty Firth from the Links. Royal Hotel is in a prime position and provides a welcoming setting for a short stay. We ate in the hotel during our stay because the selection on the menu was varied and tasty.

Cromarty is small but a lovely place to visit and walk around. The views are fantastic. The sea and country views are lovely and even the oil rigs being decommissioned or refitted look spectacular when lit up at night. There are some great walks around the shoreline and over South Sutor. Not many places to eat out but we tried them and they were fine. Handy local shops.

We found Seashell a spacious, comfortable, warm and exceptionally clean, characterful cottage with Steffi always available to help. Only 2 mins walk from the beaches, pubs and restaurants and only 1 min from the shop and local bakery with a play park across the street. If you have any doubts about visiting Cromarty, don't hesitate and this cottage is a great base.

We stayed in the old shoe shop. The one bedroom apartment was exceptional and so well stocked. Shirley and Alasdair were so welcoming and made our stay memorable. I would have given it ten stars if possible and certainly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a central stay in the lovely town of cromarty.

The property has just 1 room and it is very spacious and well appointed with views across the Cromarty Firth. The hosts are a lovely couple who made us very welcome, provided a fine breakfast and parcelled up and sent on the phone charger I managed to leave behind. Recommended.

Location is fantastic. The room had a view over the Cromarty and the weather was good. The one bright note was the young woman who served us breakfast who was friendly and helpful.
