Dog friendly, great food and amazing staff. We arrived just as the kitchen was closing and the chef was happy to take a last minute order. The pub itself is lovely, beautiful setting and our dog enjoyed the treats too!

I did state that I was a vegan in principle, most often vegetarian in practice. There was bacon and sausages for breakfast, no non meat versions, but, none-the-less, there was plenty of other food to enjoy, both hot and cold. I was impressed that soya milk cartons were provided within the room, alongside the traditional cows' milk for making your own hot drinks. The double-bed room was a decent enough size. It was very pleasant to have a view over the lush garden and greenery outside. Within the bathroom there were two shower heads above the bath. Water, both hot and cold, gushed out of the faucets, so there was little waiting to have a bath. There was free unlimited WiFi access.
