The hotel staff are very pleasant and helpful and will call you a taxi if required. There are many bars and restaurants in this small town and several shops. Beautiful drive from M6 motorway, around half an hour. Also close to the towns of Workington and Penrith, both very different and nice to explore. There is also a free car park at this hotel.

The staff were friendly & helpful. The bedroom were large, clean & comfortable. The food was excellent. Plenty of room for the dog, who was allowed in all areas.
