The house was clean and cosy, and had a very good sleep. The host was lovely to chat with and made a very nice breakfast with fresh fruit, homemade goods and great scrambled eggs that she kindly offered! I would stay here again if in the area ❤️

Friendly landlord offered me coffee upon arrival after long solo drive. The room had fresh coffee and cafetière. Bath most welcome to unwind and soothe aches after 3 hour drive. The purpose of the visit was to attend a wedding in a nearby village.

We didn't get to spend much time in Hindon but the neighborhood we were in was very lovely. We walked around a bit after we checked in, before we sat down for dinner. We didn't have a chance to go into any shops as it was late when we arrived but we very much enjoyed our stroll around the area.

Such a lovely quiet village, conveniently close to the A303 and the perfect distance for us when travelling up or down country from home in the West Country. We stayed in the Grosvenor Arms which was fabulous in every respect.

There was a book about the history of Hindon in our room, written by a local historian. It was so interesting we bought a copy! Although Hindon is very small it is a place that has been a crossroads of history. I would have liked to have time for a wander round.

I would definitely recommend the Lamb Inn!
I would definitely recommend the Lamb Inn! My husband and I loved our room with the patio out back for our morning coffee. Everything was perfect and I would book again if I ever get back to jolly old England!
The Lamb Inn looks very much as good in reality as it does in the photos. The pub itself has loads of historic character, very atmospheric and is tastefully renovated as are the guest rooms combining modern elements while retaining and respecting its heritage and sense of history. Its location in the beautiful picturesque village of Hindon is also a great plus and a pleasure to walk around. A very good base to explore the Wiltshire countryside and nearby areas.
Apart from Bernice the staff were friendly.
Breakfast was good.
Helpful cleaner when an ambulance had to be called when the groom was rushed in with appendicitis on the Sunday night. Also the hotel extended the booking out of the room on the Monday.
The staff were exemplary, the food delicious and the location great. Home made cookies and fresh milk in the room was appreciated. Do note this is a pub and not a hotel so expect some noise from the bar area below.
A tastefully newly decorated pub hotel. Very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast with quality coffee. Very close to the Tisbury Farm wedding venue where we attended a lovely wedding.
breakfast was excellent both in quantity and quality.
room perfect for our requirements
Hindon is a very attractive village and location is excellent for local exploration
