Great location, right next to town centre with 2 parking levels, lower one covered. The restaurant had a good selection and was always busy without being crowded.
The toilet roll was very high quality, a little detail which makes a big difference from the usual super thin.

Room was good size, bed was comfortable with soft fluffy pillows making for a great nights sleep. Shower had plenty of hot water with excellent pressure and was a good size.
Newly refurbished in 2019, Holiday Inn Express Strathclyde Park offers ample free parking and a continental buffet breakfast. The modern rooms feature power showers, satellite TV and work desks.
On the banks of the loch in the grounds of the idyllic Strathclyde Country Park, Alona Hotel has a laidback atmosphere and a lovely restaurant.

We have used this Hotel several times for a stopover , it is ideal and the staff are excellent . Great Parking and the food is very good . The Fish and chips are to die for , the fresh Haddock is done in a light Tempura batter .
Special mention to Gary on the front desk who is very efficient and made us very welcome .
