In the heart of the National Forest, The Post House is a 30-minute drive from historic Leicester. A 4-star family-run guest house, it has a pretty garden and individually styled rooms with free Wi-Fi....

Owners were lovely. Gave us recommendations for local restaurants.
Room was more comfortable and larger than one we had two nights before in London - which had cost more than double this per night.
Originally built as a farmhouse in 1672, the Fieldhead is situated on the edge of Charnwood Forest, just 7 miles from Leicester and 1 mile from Junction 22 of the M1.

In 11 acres of gardens, Bosworth Hall Hotel & Spa is just outside the village of Market Bosworth. It offers free parking, Crompton’s Restaurant and a leisure centre with a pool and gym.
Great location for Bosworth and Steam Railway Gala weekend.
Great location for Bosworth and Steam Railway Gala weekend. Not too far from Leicester for my Stepson to come and spend a day with us on the railway. Great Fish and Chip Shop in the street behind and able to sit on a stool to eat them!

A no nonsense small town.
A no nonsense small town. None of the pubs serve food, however there is an excellent Indian restaurant.
Ibstock is an excellent base for touring the area, with plenty of attractions within easy reach.
We were given a very warm welcome on arrival. The room was really lovely, cosy and immaculately clean with tea and coffee facilities, tv, Wi-Fi etc.. The bathroom was of a very high standard and a basket of basic toiletries was provided, which was very convenient.
There was an extensive choice of items on the breakfast menu, including full English breakfast, continental, fish dishes a well as a selection of toast, fruit and yogurts.
We would definitely book this hotel again if we were to return to the area.
it felt very welcoming and once past the security gates, very snug and secure. especially for me self employed and carrying tools in my vehicle, I always look for secure car parks. This couple have a very welcome, friendly and helpful attitude with customers. I felt very looked after as if nothing was too much trouble. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area training near Tamworth. much more welcoming than corporate hotels. Very comfy room and facilities.
Quite possibly the best B & B I have ever stayed in . 5 Star Hotel touches for a fraction of a 5 star hotel price! You couldn't wish for anything extra in your room, from the toiletries to the tea, coffee, biscuits and a bottle of water and a choccy bar.
Comfy bed, fluffy bed and and an amazing breakfast choice. What more can you want apart from safe parking and a lovely hostess ....you get both. ! Highly Highly recommended.
Very lovely. Very nice owners. Exactly what I would expect from a British cottage hotel. Quiet area and surrounding.
And most importantly: comfortable bed!! It is not too hard or feels like springs in your back. It is big and I could sleep across (almost).
Gigantic shower.
Fridge in the room.
Free tee and coffee.
The property was a lovely guest house in ibstock, perfect for a stop over whilst visiting friends in the area. Susan was lovely and couldn’t do enough for us, very attentive and accommodating. Room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and superb.
This was awesome stylish B&B with great owner, who cooked us delicious breakfast. Day after we are staying in 4* hotel which is complete rubbish in comparison to The Post House. Thank you Susan for having us ;-)
The host and the vibe - like visiting your Nan for the genuine care, but like visiting a hotel for the quality. Susan is a total treasure. It's secure, convenient and I will go back when I can.
Susan was very friendly and helpful. We had not been to the Ibstock area before so appreciated the useful tips.
The room was spotless and the breakfast was superb.
