Set amid rose gardens, this peaceful hotel has luxurious modern facilities and its architecture dates back to the 17th century. Excellent cuisine is served in the award-winning Squires Restaurant.

The breakfast was superb as always and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Newmarket. Special mention to the lovely Eleanor on reception.

The privately owned Best Western Heath Court Hotel is 350 yards from Newmarket’s centre, and a 5-minute drive to Newmarket's two racecourses.

We did not have breakfast but we did have an evening meal which was ok but nothing special with the roast potatoes more like boiled and barely crisped, the rooms were good the staff excellent and helpful , good parking and very central location. over all a great stay apart from the food served.

    The Rising Sun pub did lovely, reasonable food and were extremely welcoming. Only had a drink at The Griffin as felt it a bit of a 'man's' pub abd quite scruffy. The Walnut Tree is worth a visit for food.
