The hotel room was lovely and clean a very comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t have more helpful. We had a dog with us and he was spoiled rotten with a plate of treats in the pet friendly bar and a cooked sausage for his breakfast. We couldn’t fault how welcome we were made after a long trip from Scotland and a lovely meal in the bar area which welcomed dogs 😊

Spotlessly clean, we felt secluded but were really only a few minutes drive from local amenities and beaches, the garden was completely secure for our pet dog. The little touches were really appreciated too, like the treats for our dog and the Welsh cakes for us, the different specialists teas to choose from. Information provided of local places ti visit and recommendations on where to eat. There was even a comprehensive risk assessment plain to peruse through (my partner was particularly impressed by this). Our dog usually takes a while to settle and is known to go on hunger strike for a few days but we had none of that, she was right at home straight away. We didn’t need to use the log burner but can imagine it would be lovely to cosy up in front of on a chilly night whilst watching Netflix, playing board games or just chatting and enjoying a glass of wine. This cottage was like something that I would read about as a child in my favourite Enid Blyton books, the Enchanted Forest and The Faraway Tree. We cannot wait to go back.

Always wanted to stay in one of these caravans so to have the opportunity was amazing. Loved the history and how the barn was accessorised, the Swedish bath was amazing as well, beautiful location with views and walks for the dogs. Will definitely return
Amazing place to stay with an amazing host. Very peaceful setting - great for families. Pauline (Host) couldn't be more helpful and provided lots of information of the local area. If you want to get away and unwind for a few days this is the place - it felt just like being at home!
