Top tips:
For Dinner options - would highly recommend The White Hart inn but book in advance or we saw that the Chippy across the road had a queue 10 deep prior to opening which says a lot about the place. The Crown Inn's kitchen wasn't open so we were glad we'd booked the White Hart.
The local Spar supermarket is only open until 6pm.

Excellent - everything was superb! We would not hesitate to recommend Thornsgill House B&B. The hosts were welcoming, generous and everything was clean and beautifully presented.

Fantastic traditional Yorkshire Inn in an idyllic setting next to the River Wharfe.
Great beer, great food (especially the award winning pies made by the lovely Sarah) and a pub atmosphere that you will not find anywhere else, created by the ever-entertaining owner and landlord Ed. We shall be back!!!
