I’ve stayed at the Halfway House Inn many times and it’s the location, the accommodation, the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness that always makes it a pleasure to stay at. Competitively priced and having good road links makes it easy for travelling. Located not too far from Yeovil means it’s only about 15 minutes from the town centre but has great countryside views and a lake behind the Inn. Would recommend it for anyone wanting to get away and explore the area.

With unique views of the South Somerset countryside, in a peaceful lakeside, river and garden location, Haselbury Mill has beautiful historical buildings and superb food.

The area was good and in a nice setting The bathroom was quite modern, and warm, but was very small. The towel rail was boiling hot, so if you touched it to get in and out of the shower in the bath, it burnt your hand. A health and safety hazard

Lisa the waitress did an excellent job, I was very impressed when I asked her about the portraits on the wall Her answers were immediate, her attentive service was excellent as was the other two staff members on duty, well done to you all .
