I really liked your staff particularly the lovely dark haired lady on reception who was very kind and attentive and looked after me extremely well. I forgot to ask her name but she was on duty Sunday afternoon 28th April and Tuesday 23rd April 2024. If you have an employee of the month award please can I nominate her for that or your equivalent. Interesting place, will go back. Got to swim in the Thames, see the churches, go to Whitchurch, walk along the Thames. Visit Goring. It's a fantastic place for a couple of nights. There is a canoe club and also it's a good place to cycle in.LizUnited Kingdom - 6.0Scored 6.0

Pangbourne is surrounded by loverly woods and the River Thames runs close by. The traffic during the day is very heavy and makes walking around the town unpleasant. Oddly there are no pubs on the river. There are som nice walks by the river.MarkStanton1 - 4.0Scored 4.0

Didn’t use the romantic bath for 2 in the honeymoon suite because of the mould around the bath. So wasn’t the special romantic stay we hoped for atal

Cleanliness and individuality of hotel decor coupled with keen price meant for an enjoyable stay. The hotel is well situated in the village. Also reassuring was that there seemed good regard to social distancing and other covid related precautions by all staff.

The hotel does have a railway line at the back which can be noisy but they automatically moved us further away which was appreciated and helped a bit. Plenty of parking which was good. The staff/owners were really friendly, check in was easy. We were not in the hotel much as we were visiting family but we did have a couple of late evening drinks in the bar which was very pleasant.
