It was a good location in the Lakes, we stayed for a wedding down the road. The members of staff were all super helpful and friendly. Can’t fault the service at all. The breakfast also had a good variety, though was a bit greasy

The location was perfect for hiking in and around the area. The staff, the room, the evening meal and breakfast were all exceptional!
Amazing value for money.
The building itself with the backdrop of the mountains was truly breathtaking.

Stayed in room 6, it was very clean, nicely decorated and spacious with a large bathroom.
Great communication with clear instructions for check in. After booking, we immediately received a message to inform us that the hotel is above a bar; we were booked in a ground floor room initially and asked if we could be moved to an upper floor, this request was accommodated and responded to very quickly.
Great location - parking, supermarket and places to eat all within a 2 minute walk. We enjoyed a drink at the gin & cocktail bar below the hotel and dinner at Shill's. Buttermere was less than 30 minutes drive away.
Breakfast at Veeva cafe was delicious, we enjoyed the very generous portion of cooked breakfast to fuel us up for a long day of hiking!
