Very well situated in centre of town. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fun with random fellow travellers at the table. Close to start of some hiking trails. I had had a bad day with my tyre blowing ..the owners were fabulous in assisting me and loaning me their phone whilst sorting out my next day pick up. Yes, I would stay their again if passing through.

We found the Granary well equipped, clean, spacious and homely. The beds were large and comfy. Ideally situated for touring the Moray coastline and following the whisky trail!

A lovely quiet village. That is located well for sightseeing in the area. There isn't any where to shop or eat in the village, but there's plenty of places nearby where you can go to get food. It's very pesceful, which lends itself to a good nights sleep.

Portgordon has the (delightful) air of being quite out of the way, but even by public transport it would have been quite accessible, as would other fascinating places around. It is very quiet. It is a shame for the village that the only shop recently closed. There is one pub - the Lennox. Reviewed elsewhere it gives the impression of an unprepossessing exterior hiding a warm heart; and I would agree with that.
