From the moment we walked Into Maften Hall we were greeted by a wonderful gentleman Desmond, who offered to help with our bags and we received our welcome drink.
The property is stunning, and the staff are exceptional!
We were very lucky to be offered a complimentary upgrade so thank you so much for this Claire!
The property itself is beautiful and the only thing we didn't like is that we didn't have another night! The staff couldn't do enough and as we were celebrating they made our stay here just perfect.
We will be back! Thank you again.

From a friendly welcome to helpful checkout it was a super smooth stay. We had a lovely bright, clean room and comfy bed, with everything we could need (including fresh milk!). It's easy to come and go and we had a peaceful night.

The Coach House is a beautiful place to stay when in the area. We had to take a slight detour from Hadrian‘s Wall Path, which we were on, but it was well worth it. The cottage is situated at the end of a private driveway surrounded by a luscious garden. Everything was tastefully decorated, nice and clean, the bed very comfortable, which was welcome after a long day of hiking. For dinner and breakfast we had to head down to the Boatside Inn about 20mins out, but it was well worth it, as the food was delicious, the staff lovely and the walk there and back beautiful. It also gave us an opportunity to check out the local Quoits team, which was quite fun! We hope to be back!
