All went well and up to expectations. Lancaster is an excellent base for my Lake
District fell-walking and visiting old haunts. The Reception Staff in particular were
most helpful as usual even pointing out that I had made a double booking which could have been expensive. I have booked again in July and am looking forward to it.
The arrival procedures, car parking, accommodation and meals were perfect and I was
left alone to get on with my holiday. I see no reason why I should stay anywhere else!
Thank you.

Breakfasts and evening meals delicious.

Friendly welcome from all the efficient team members.

Although it is a small village there are 3 dog friendly cafes to choose from. I would recommend The Barn which has a garden nursery, gift shop, ice cream parlour and restaurant. There are also plenty of walks nearby and it is not far to the lovely town of Garstang.

Scorton is quiet.
Scorton is quiet. For an evening meal or drink you need to go to Garstang, though it is only 7 minute drive away.
Ideal location to take in a walk around Grizedale Reservoir or up Nicky Nook to see fantastic views
The Priory team were super helpful, attentive and friendly. The ploughman's platter was delicious and just what we needed after a long journey. The breakfast is excellent. Scorton itself is a lovely little village, and looked extra nice at Christmas. The walk around the churches was peaceful and scenic even after dark and during the daytime the local amenities are on your doorstep. The location is also great as it's so close to the motorway. We enjoyed our stay so much we've already stayed again.
Good selection of choices including a Very substantial full English breakfast. Hotel situated in a very pretty little village with an attractive appearance outside. The room was very large but dated & could definitely use upgrading. Similarly, the bathroom was huge but only had a tiny little shower cubicle which was a challenge for any tall people. There was a tall step up to the bathroom which could prove tricky in the middle of the night.
We love Scorton so everytime we return for a holiday here it feels like home. The site is great for all the family with just enough facilities aswell. Great location for the caravan , clean and spacious we really enjoyed our weekend away here and can't wait to return. Sue was always on hand to answer any queries making sure our family enjoyed every second of our stay Thankyou
The property was a great size and very luxurious. I absolutely loved the styling of the studio, it was stunning. It’s a perfect romantic get away for a couple. It was dog friendly too which was great. Lots of nice dog walks nearby and the village of scorton was a short walk away for breakfast/lunch.
Excellent staff, Rachel was very friendly and professional. The room was clean. The breakfast was very good. I would recommend this hotel but unfortunately there was no evening meal available.
