Lovely hotel with a fantastic countryside view from the car park, larger than it looks from the outside too. The room was comfortable with a modern bathroom. The service was good for Dinner we sat in the courtyard which is a lovely sun trap and the portion size was great value for money and the food delicious. Breakfast staff were attentive although we were advised that breakfast was from 7:30am on Sunday morning by our Dinner waitor, it was actually 8am so we did have to wait a while but were given coffee whilst waiting.

Beautiful quiet location. Fabulous views from the bedrooms and the beer garden.
The staff were exceptional all very friendly, polite and welcoming. All were genuinely keen to make your stay as easy as possible.
The rooms were fabulous, large and airy and spotlessly clean.
Dinner was a delight with beautifully presented dishes that were way above ‘pub food level’.
Breakfast was cooked to order, fresh and plentiful.

Hotel was clean, the beds comfy and the staff were polite.
But a few things to note which we found dissapointing.
So we had a large deluxe king room, I would of hoped for 2 large towels we had 1 large towel for 2 people to use?
The shower was lovely BUT, by the time we had both showered the bathroom floor had a puddle on it and we had to use one of the 2 hand towels to soak it up.
The lamp on the bed on one side was loose so no direction, and if you had the main lights on don't look up if your laying on the bed you would be blinded by the spot lights.
Lovely TV but no way to tell what programmes were coming up or were on as no info under guide and apparently it was a Wednesday in April?
We decided we would eat at the restaurant, well we went to the bar first hubby asked for a pint of bitter the staff had no idea what this was?, I made a comment about ohh apparently they have cocktails, this led to the bar staff looking panicked so I dropped it.
The food prices all seemed pretty high and honestly the whole area felt cold and clinical, and being dissapointed about the limitation on drinks we decided to walk the 3 mins to a Brewyers fayre which was opposite, best decision we made, food 1/3 cheaper, they knew what Bitter was and had a great selection cocktails.
Breakfast was included in the price, it was ok but I have had better, again the resturant area really felt cold and clinical.
The staff when chatting to were lovely, the bed and room overall was clean and comfy but just be ready to have waders for the bathroom and to bring extra towels with you. Had hoped for a bit more but recommend the Brewyers fayre opposite atmosphere and staff were excellent.

Stayed one night, great value as we booked dinner, bed and breakfast. We used the leisure facilities which were great. We had a drink in the bar and had our evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant. Food was good quality and nicely presented. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything catered for in the rooms, although there wasn’t a hairdryer, which wasn’t a problem for us as I always bring my own.

I booked a deluxe king room but pretty sure it was just a standard room as was much smaller than the one I previously stayed in… which was booked as a standard room so who knows!
Bed was quite hard but other than that all fine.

very dated and accommodation booked wasn’t what was provided and when challenged told sorry but it’s all they had and a lottery only five rooms left all twins instead of doubles
tv failed on the 2nd night no explanation breakfast not worth the cost. leisure facilities very dated shower rooms looked in clean.
why stay because you would have taken the first night cost if I cancelled and hotel didn’t want to know as booked through you so didn’t have a choice
Recently refurbished hotel. Our room was spacious, clean, with more than enough storage. The staff was helpful, and made our short stay very pleasant.
Breakfast was great too, with a choice of cooked breakfast, pastry, yoghurt, fruits etc. I would recommend this hotel even for a longer stay.
Very nice very clean hotel only booked it as a stop off point for me and my daughter while visiting university's. Breakfast was very nice everything kept clean and tidy and air con in the room witch was amazing as we stayed on one of the hottest days. Would recommend to other people
Very stylish, bedrooms are spacious and bed is spacious.
We loved the late check out which was given to us after signing up to IHG rewards.
I loved the charging sockets by our beds, that’s different from most hotels and very convenient.
We did not have breakfast or anything to eat at the hotel because we were visiting family. Our room was cold so at night time we had to switch it off, because the system creates a noise that doesn;t allow me to sleep at night.N/A
Such friendly staff and a very clean and comfortable hotel with great facilities. The dinner, bed and breakfast package was amazing value. We would definitely use this hotel again. You can't go wrong with a Holiday Inn.
The staff at this hotel were so helpful and friendly. I even made arrangements with them to decorate our room with decorations I posted to them before our arrival as a surprise for my boyfriends birthday! 🥳
Accommodation was good, breakfast was from an acceptably early time and choices were very good. Staff were extremely helpful! Air con in room was very good and also good inside Hotel.
We used to hotel simply to break our journey and it fulfilled all of our expectations. Dinner and breakfast were very good. The room was extremely comfortable, especially the bed.
