The accommodation was delightful; superbly dressed, with minute attention to detail in a self-contained annexe with plenty of parking and a decent local pub. The room has been very highly finished and incorporates the original beams and alcoves to form something quite special and unique. Complementary White Company toiletries added to the sense of luxury. A generous, light breakfast was left for us in the room and set us up perfectly for our onward journey.

It's a nice hotel, with Stanwick lakes not far away. Staff were friendly, room was very comfortable, clean and had all you needed. The food in the restaurant was lovely. We were made very welcome, great staff and the room was ready early as requested as we were attending an afternoon event. Room was well laid out and a good range of tea, coffee, water and biscuits. Good hairdryer and shower. Well lit courtyard. Stayed in the bar/restaurant in the evening and it was delightfully warm on a very cold windy night. Again very helpful staff and served great bar snacks. Good choice for breakfast and easy check in/check out.
