Breakfast was a full English excellent lovely and hot, also could have fruit ,yogurts, cereals, you can have what you like ,the chap was very nice who served us friendly, the room was also nice clean bed really comfy, had coffee or tea with few biscuits very nice .plenty of car parking .not far to walk into town and super market stores .

A fantastic stay with exceptional hosts paying attention to detail and asked if we had special requests for breakfast after first day. Stepping into another world, a fascinating historic home with so much to look at. The extensive grounds are so tranquil, watching the pheasants from our bedroom window was a treat. We shared many conversations with Pippa and Steve throughout our stay but they also respected our privacy. Looking at our calendar now as cant wait to return. Thank you :).

The food was incredible! We really cannot rate the food high enough, we had the garlic chicken with pea puree & parmentier potatoes, the pork belly with apple mash and pak choy (although my pak choy was substituted for carrots..) and the pistachio brownie to share (this did need a scoop of ice-cream as whilst it was delicious, it was quite dry).
The wine was very nice too and the staff were nice, just very quiet.
The room was spacious, with a huge bathroom and the bed was very comfortable.
Conveniently situated off junction 25 of the M5, the Holiday Inn Taunton M5, Jct25, is between the cities of Exeter and Bristol and less than an hour away from both.
