The building itself is amazing. Great seafront location. Lovely Victorian feel to the lobby especially. The rooms were nice and clean, though 1 did have a strange odour. The staff were really good on what will have been a busy weekend for them. I think some of the reviews I read were harsh, as this is a lovely hotel. It seems like the staff run a tight ship with little resources, and managed it well.

Pleasant staff, warm welcome. Nice sized bedroom, good cooked English breakfast with waiter service. Easy to walk into the village centre where you can get an alternative evening meal

Friendly welcome, plenty of parking, nice clean room with fresh crisp white sheets and towels. The shared facilities are kept clean and always available when I wanted to use them. My friends joined me for an evening meal in the pub and all 3 of us really enjoyed our food. Oh and dog friendly too!

The Crescent Hotel is a Grade II listed building, situated in the centre of Scarborough and 10 minutes’ walk from South Bay Beach. The hotel overlooks the pleasant Crescent Gardens.

Bed comfy and sheets clean. Shower powerful. Sound proofing was good I couldn't hear the pub noise. Staff very polite and chatty and helpful. Alfie very helpful young man.
