I would have rated it 11 if possible. I think it's the best place I've stayed - ever. Fantastic views, a unique location with an impressive history, and above all super friendly management and staff. The Grand Chalet restaurant down the road and under the same management, is a great place for breakfast and supper. I only stayed one night and wish I could have spent longer there.

Beautiful premises. Friendly animals. Big outdoors, kids were free to roam around. Very nice, friendly, helpful hosts. Could not get anything better than this.

The setting up in the mountains was superb with many walking trails the road to the ski resort was interesting and would expect it to be often impassable in winter .There are several hill villages some with tavernas
