The place is cool and the owner very friendly. The rooms are pretty big with a very high roof in bambù. clean sheets and comfortable mattress. The toilet is a bit basic but functional. In a rural area with no much turism, ideal if you drive there by scooter. Better to contact the owner in advance to double confirm your reservation. I would definitely come back.

We have been fortunate enough to travel extensively around the world and stayed in many high quality hotels. We consider this to be one of the very best. It surpasses all expectations and more. From the moment you arrive, with smiling enthusiastic staff at the entrance to greet you, to the moment you leave, with the same genuine warmth and farewell from the staff, you feel this place has a special ambiance which is difficult to fault. The location is exceptional. The food is delicious and healthy. We attended a bbq on the beach on our final night, which was perfect in so many ways. The Oberoi Group are deserving of the high praise and accolades many have given already to this wonderful hotel.

Our stay at Tugu Lombok was excellent and we absolutely loved everything about the place, particularly the staff. Some hotels have all the glitz and glamour of finest in everything, but lack heart and soul. Tugu has the latter in so many wonderful ways, and we applaud the management on running such an amazing hotel, with staff who genuinely enjoy making their guests happy. What more can I say.

We had a very pleasant stay of three nights. It felt a bit dystopian sometimes since we were the only guests at that time, nonetheless we never had the luxury of a private resort before. The bungalow was spacious, comfortable and traditionally furnished. The outside shower and bath were great. The facilities such as the swimming pool were very nice. The area was green, peaceful and quiet, everything was well maintained. We ate twice at the resort and really enjoyed the food. We rented a scooter at the resort to move around, visit beaches and the waterfalls. The staff was hospitable, warm, friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back. Oh, and we loved Sasa (the dog).
