Really lovely place :) stayed in the camper with my friend and we were surprised how comfortable it was. Had a bathroom, sink, kettle and two beds. Didn’t get to use the communal area as we were only staying the night but the kitchen facilities and shower were very clean and look very handy! Staff were super friendly, including the cat that greeted us at breakfast and the donkeys beside the camper!
Location isn’t too far from Kilkenny town about 15 minutes drive. Would be worth keeping this in mind if you’re not driving as there’s no public transport and taxis can take awhile. No fault of the property but just worth noting to have transport arranged in advanced :)

I loved the charm of this place. Sure it’s old, a bit of a rabbit warren & a LOT of stairs, but there was a certain quaintness that you can only get at a location like this, with the history it has. The included breakfast was delicious & plentiful, & the restaurant / bar staff were helpful, friendly & attentive. Location was great - easy access to the town centre.

The food was lovely...Both Breakfast and dinner! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I am going to make a very, very bold statement here and say that it was possibly the nicest hotel pint of Guinness I have ever had, or ever will have.
