The location is perfect. Not far away from Newbridge & Carlow. It’s not too far off the motorway so it is easy accessible & although is close to busy roads, it is so peaceful & quiet! The grounds are lovely to walk around. The host is lovely & so helpful! The accommodation is absolutely stunning!

What was not to like?! We were travelling through Ireland and staying in a beautiful 18th century home.
We booked in the afternoon and Mary was so accommodating about us checking in an hour after the listed times as we were still heading there after an activity.
Lovely breakfast and recommendations on where to go for dinner/excursions/missing traffic. Cannot fault this stay in any way. We left saying to each other what a lovely experience it was staying there, even if it was only for the night.
Can't wait to come back.

The check in was easy (lock boxes, not everybody likes but can be very handy) and clear, the room was a lovely surprise, a really nice, interesting and quirky (in a very good way), no beige here. Instructions in room were clear. Unfortunately timing did not work for me as restaurant was closed the night I was there but I imagine it would be even more special if it was open. Had a number to contact if I needed anything and when I texted the number got a reasonable quick response. I did not see any staff but the support was there.
