Dunmore House Hotel was superb - I can't rate it highly enough. The owners have paid incredible attention to detail and it's clear that their customers are front and centre of everything they do. The location is superb - the hotel is comfortable and decorated with excellent taste - from the art on the walls, the beautiful garden flower arrangements, the armchair and blanket in the rooms, the pristine white paintwork, the Voya toiletries. the beautifully simple white china at breakfast, the chilled water from their own spring, thick towels, comfortable robes, the organic gardens, breath-taking views and of course the amazing breakfast ... the leaping dolphins in the bay were pretty impressive too!
In the heart of Clonakilty, this luxury hotel has a leisure centre with an indoor pool, sauna and steam room. With a modern restaurant and bar, the beautiful coastline is just 10 minutes away by car....

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only stayed one night but couldn't fault the service and the location was good. Didn't eat any meals but all looked good.

After a very friendly welcome we found our room comfortable and well appointed. The property is almost literally in the middle of nowhere. It was not yet full tourist season and as a result the very few eating placed in the villages nearby were closed on the day we visited. Instead we had an evening picnic by the water, feeling fortunate that it did not rain. The views from the breakfast room out across the water are beautiful. Breakfast of a "full Irish" was plentiful. Like almost everywhere else on our Irish tour, the vegetarian option was not automatically mentioned, but generously provided once this request was received. We completely recommend this B & B to other travellers.

Lovely quite area, very short walk to the town. We had a most comfortable stay. The bed was really comfortable, the room was spacious, with water, teas, coffee all available in the room. We had use of the breakfast room to chill out if we wanted. Breakfast was so good, all our needs were catered, the coffee was spot on. We will for sure be back to stay again, all thanks to amazing hosts.

Pretty village located on The Wild Atlantic Way. The local area is very beautiful and it would be a good base to explore Kinsale, Old Head Lighthouse and Clonakilty. A number of very beautiful beaches are in the immediate vicinity.
