The food at their restaurant is very good. There's a particular waiter called Rahul (and he didn't tell me to write this BTW), who's particularly helpful in giving suggestions.
I ordered chicken tikka with roti which was awesome! Would highly recommend that!
Other food was good too.
In breakfast we had only 1 non-veg but considering the price it's still very good!
The wifi was great!
The accomodation was beautiful and we had a pleasant stay. The shower was good. The AC was functional.
The receptionist was a true gentleman! Right from the start he allowed me to sit for sometime before the checkin (for my office work). He even prepared the room a little early for me in order to help me out. I think his helpfulness and courteousness deserves praise!
When I was leaving one of the staff members checked the room and found an item I had forgotten.
Would love to come here again because of the excellent staff, exceptional receptionist, excellent food and a beautiful room!

Mysore is a gem of a city in India. The weather is usually much less extreme than other places in India. The people are friendly and there's lots to do. The palace is beautiful (especially on Sunday night when they light 10K lights for an hour), the catholic cathedral is very nice. The sacred Chamundi Hill is a must! Nandi Bull is on the other side of the hill and carved from a huge boulder. There is also lots of walking places and the Deveraja Market must not be missed for spices, flowers and lots of inexpensive interesting items including incense and jaggery. There is also lots of tailors, jewelry shopping and Mysore silk shops. The Southern Star is a great hotel there.

There is good food, southern Indian is my fav’ nice coffee, the beautiful maharajah palace and beautiful architecture, add the holy Chamundi Hill, both for an aerial view of the city and worship of mother Durga

This listing is obviously in India.
This listing is obviously in India.
I can't understand why it's listed with Booking, com as Jugglers Rest in Picton.
It's most confusing!
When you ring the contact number it's in India and the person that answers is very hard to understand and barely speaks English.
Personally I don't think Booking.com should have the property listed at all

I arrived at mysore by train from Bangalore and didn’t get to my hotel til around 13:30. Hotellier kindly provided a map and marked on it local places of interest, thinking this would be too late to visit the palace I went to the aquarium. The best thing about it was the entrance - makes for great photos.
Walking (with the aid of good old google) I came across the palace and couldn’t resist going in. Just 100inr - same price for everyone. I didn’t have to queue for more than a few minutes for a ticket at that time of day but there were still orderly queues getting around inside. I had plenty of time before closing at 17:30 so I achieved my purpose for visiting mysore earlier than expected.
Shoes are not allowed inside the palace so I’d recommend socks as 10s of thousands of people visit every week. The sheer opulence of the palace is something I’ve not seen anywhere else. I didn’t stay for the daily palace light show as I was tired out but I understand it’s quite something.
It’s not somewhere you’d find fine dining but the hotel I stayed at had a restaurant very nearby.

GOOD PLACE TO VISIT.
GOOD PLACE TO VISIT. WE LIKED THESE PLACES SUCH AS CHAMUNDI TEMPLE, MYSORE PALACE, ZOO, VRUNDAVAN GARDEN, MIRROR MAZE AND DEVARAJA MARKET. THE WORST PLACE IS WE HAVE VISITED DOMAINE SULA WHICH WAS ON THE WAY FROM BANGALORE TO MYSORE.

I would 💯 recommend Crossroads hostels for anyone looking for the best backpacking hostel experience in a lovely and calm location with friendly people as hosts.
The hostel ambience is too good and maintained very well. There’s a fully equipped kitchen, high speed wifi and spacious common area to chill out and work.
It’s located in centre of Gokulam where you find great Yoga institutions and also super good cafés around it.
Overall everything is best about here and you definitely have the awesome experience and positive vibes.
The room was spacious and clean. Since it was away from the main city, there was good parking space in front and around the hotel. Bed and towels were clean. Hot water was there.
The hotel lobby was pleasant and staff was very helpful.
The hotel is easy to locate as it is 1 minute walk from the main ring-road. Though you need a vehicle, there are stores and restaurants around the area within a radius of 1 to 2 kms. The hotel provides room service if you want to order coffee or food. Swiggy does deliver food from nearby area.
The location was at a calm place where there are Lot of houses and hotels near by. Railway station, Mysore palace and Zoo are with in 15-30 mins travel. Good Veg restaurants like Nalpak, TKS IYENGAR are 900m walkable if you like walking.
Provision and vegetable store at the roads end. All the amenities were provided Gas Stove, Vessels, Cooker. If you don’t like eating outside a lot like us, The Kitchen had all the necessary amenities.
Host Sajan and care taker Nitin were very helpful.
We loved the comfort and facilities this hotel provided. Food was excellent amazing value.
Lovely pool.
The room we had on 5th floor was newly renovated, large, comfortable bed and mini bar. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Always greeting us with a smile.
Complimentary Yoga was a bonus each morning.
Walking distance to many must see places in Mysore. If you love nature take a stroll around the nearby Kukkaraharri Lake before dusk to experience flocks of birds and fruit bats.
I must say it is truly one of the best choices for accommodation in Mysore. The experience was worth every penny spent. The hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, excellent service, and modern amenities. Making it a standout option for anyone visiting Mysore. The staff was really good and friendly, and their warm and welcoming demeanor added to the overall positive experience during my stay. I highly recommend it for a delightful and satisfying stay.
good hotel nice location rooms are clean and big spaces ,,,,staff helping lots they all very polite and training well
break fast awsome idli and vada special this break fast all rooms are AC And working smmothy infront of hotel nice garden NEGATIVE PEOPLE TELL BAD COMMENTS I SAW SOME BAD COMMENTS BELIVE ME THIS IS THE BEST HOTEL FOR STAY MYSORE .....check this review and decide BEST HOTEL MYSORE
The location is very good (15 mins walk from the palace, also close to markets), the hotel is new and clean. The bed was comfy and the water pressure was the best I had in India. Also, the water in tte shower is properly hot. They kindly allowed to check in a bit earlier. There is also a nice restaurant on the terrace where they serve buffet style breakfast. All the staff were nice and polite with me.
Very clean room with all the essential amenities. A new hotel. So everything looked new. Good food and friendly staff. Location is quiet, away from busy road. Being a sustainability champion, I liked the way water was served in reusable glass bottles, than the unhealthy and garbage generating plastic bottled water. Wish they did the same for the drinking water in the room as well.
The Rooms were dusty and the bed linens quite old, after highlighting, they were replaced. Staff cooperative, hotel looks good but the cleanliness of room and the bed/pillow covers needs attention, older towels. TV channels never worked, parking could be a problem if you arrive late. The facility has only space for 3 cars. Rest need to park on road side.
Ms. Suma Roy (Front Office Manager) and Mr. Kariappa (F&B Manager) ensured our stay was one of the best ever in any hotel that we have stayed so far. They ensured we are taken care to the best level possible especially given the current situation and understanding our special needs. I am sure to choose this hotel to stay if I visit Mysore again anytime
Good Features: Very spacious hotel, with a huge lobby and dining hall. Landscaping in the hotel, greenery and the walkways are good. Plenty of parking space available. Rooms are spacious. Location is good and in a residential colony, peaceful away from the busy roads' but you have to walk almost a kilometer to reach the main market area.
Location is near to Mysuru Junction Railway Station and City Centre Bus stand. Mysore Palace is also very near. All these three are within 5 minutes drive by auto. Room was clean and comfortable for 3 persons. Hotel ambiance from outside, reception and the corridor are very clean and impressive.
No tar road for 100 to 200 meters approaching and outside the building where the facility is located.
My car bumper was damaged, no proper parking facility while try to get my car into the facility
No hotels and amenities nearby
