Stayed in Hotel Geysir due to an operational upgrade.
Amazing interior design which is second to none, love the corridors - feels like you’re in a cinema foyer. Room looks great, loads of space and beds are very comfy. Also the coffee pod machine in the room was a great touch. The windows that overhang with a cushion to sit on is a fantastic idea!
This highland hotel offers a restaurant with traditional Icelandic lamb and seafood dishes. Located by the Hvita River, it is just 3 km from Gullfoss Waterfall. WiFi is free.

Clean and comfortable, the rooms are nice and warm. Very good buffet breakfast. Gullfoss waterfall and the Geyser park are a short drive away, so we were able to visit them later in the day when the places were quieter.
Set in Haukadalur and only 4 km from Geysir, Náttúra Yurtel offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Fantastic experience!! Couldn’t recommend it more.
It was a pleasure to stay here for the night. So relaxing being out in nature but still with all the comforts of a hotel. Lovely breakfast the next morning as well. The separate shower block, that is communal, is very clean.
This Icelandic horse farm provides accommodation in Haukadalur Valley, 90 minutes’ drive from Reykjavik. Overlooking Geysir, it offers a guest lounge, garden and horse riding tours.

The view was fantastic. The cabin was comfortable & had everything needed in the kitchen. Laundry was really useful & easy to use. Very peaceful despite lots of neighbouring cabins.
Easy to find the property. We visited Geysir, Gulfoss & Bruafoss.

Great place, wonderful view, close by interesting places like waterfalls and geysir. The outdoor hot Tub was an unexpected bonus. Bathing under the Northern Light, a magical experience. Ignacio is a caring friendly host. Not a cheap place, but what is cheap in Iceland anyway? Not expensive either, to Icelandic standards. Highly recommended place.
Situated in Reykholt, within 19 km of Geysir and 29 km of Gullfoss Waterfall, Blue Hotel Fagrilundur - On The Golden Circle features free WiFi.

Breakfast was great, room and privacy were great. Loved the hot tub and overall vibe. Loved the location for driving the Golden Circle. In three countries on our trip, this was our favorite stay.

Arbakki is a family home that has been turned into guest accommodation. This led to a very welcoming feel. We had free use of the kitchen and dining areas and a hot tub. Despite us being the only guests the breakfast was still extensive and delicious. Our Ukrainian host, on behalf of the home owner, was excellent company and a pleasure to meet.
We adored our yurt. This is a unique experience in a remote location. The yurt is incredibly warm, spacious, and comfortable. There is a toilet and sink in the room. It was nice the breakfast is included especially for a reasonably priced hotel (for Iceland standards.) Because it is a boutique location there were limited amounts of other guests which made our stay very peaceful. We went out at night to admire the stars and even caught an aurora. Staff are very kind. Location prime between Geysir and Gulfoss.
We had never stayed in a yurt and it was simply an amazing experience. It was very spacious and furnished beautifully, functional and it was very clean. The weather was very cold and windy but inside it was very cozy due to the heated floors! It’s very close to the Geysir area so this worked out well for us. Breakfast was wonderful as well. Lots of choices in the breakfast yurt. We could not have ask for anything more. Highly recommend this different ‘hotel’ stay!!!
Breakfast was made available in the main hotel. It included Scandanavian fare (herring, fresh bread, tomatoes etc.) as well as American breakfast options (pancakes, sauasges, etc.). Our room was a good size for the price - the bathroom was actually pretty big for a smaller hotel. From the hotel it was about a 10-minute walk to the geysirs, so the location is perfect. ***Make sure to use the main hotel address for your GPS or you will get lost!
This was the second time I have stayed at Hotel Gullfoss, and I can honestly say it'll be a regular stay for future Iceland visits. This time I was able to bring friends along for the stay, and they even remarked it was one of their favorite stays in Iceland. If you're thinking about staying here even for one night during your Iceland visit, do it!
The rooms are basic but very comfortable. The best part of this hotel is its location, which is very close to several must-see spots in this area of Iceland. I was also very lucky because, being in a rural area, I could see the Northern Lights from the hotel. Another strength of the hostel is its staff. They are very friendly and welcoming.
We had a simple but great room; everything was very convenient including the USB ports for charging devices. Breakfast was very nice and dinner at the restaurant was very good. We went to the Gulfoss falls in the morning after staying at the hotel and beat any crowds coming from Reykjavik which was really nice
Fantastic experience!! Couldn’t recommend it more.

Lovely hotel, spacious enough rooms for an Icelandic hotel (the bathroom was actually huge!). Really tasty food in a nice dining room. Obviously very close to the waterfall, so you can pop down before the tour bus hordes arrive. We had them to ourselves
If traveling the Golden Circle it is an excellent location. We had a buffet dinner at the hotel which was very good with a nice selection. The breakfast was excellent in the choices and quality of food.
The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly. A pleasant room with tea & coffee facilities and a mini fridge. The food in the restaurant was very tasty and a good selection of spirits at the bar.
Nice and quiet. Warm floor as they have a heater underneath. Very friendly team. Nice for changing the atmosphere to experience something different other than a hotel room.
the Litli hotel was under some renovation, so they accommodated us to the hotel Geysir. such perfect location and this was our favorite hotel from all our trip to Iceland
