The breakfasts were very good. The room was nice and I appreciated having a small fridge in there as someone had taken over the small basket with my room name on it in the main fridge. It would have been nice to have access to coffee later in the day. Francesca was wonderful. Francesca told me how to get to the next town over as it had a walkway along the lake. There is a paying beach across the street and a community beach a little down the street but there isn't really a bathing area. All in all, it was a relaxing stay! I noticed most people only stayed for a night, maybe two. I didn't find any good restaurants nearby.

Very nice room, new bathroom, tastefully furnished, quiet neighborhood. We had to leave early and therefore missed breakfast - which is only served at one hour (9to 10, I think).
Good value

A small place by the lake, but the shore is more or less...
A small place by the lake, but the shore is more or less private, so you are limited to the part of the shore that is in the camp, The place has many shops, which are more or less empty or already run down, also there is only one restaurant , which is open all day, but there is a lot of traffic. Also, there is a lot of garbage on the street. In general, you get the feeling that they had big plans for tourism, but they did not succeed.

The whole lake area is very beautiful.
The whole lake area is very beautiful. Dormelletto is probably less turistic and attractive but it is very close to Arona, Stressa and also to the east coast of the lake that is as much beautiful as the west coast, which is generally more popular.
The host family (whole family and the cute dog Oliver) warmly welcomed us, we felt comfortable and relaxed during our stay. The breakfast was rich and organized at any requested time. The garden is big and cosy, kitchen is well equipped.
For enjoying the lake there are two options: Private beach (two sunbeds and umbrella costs 10 euro for guests Ritratto B&B) or public beach (free). Both beaches are just next to the hotel.
They provided us a kayak with two paddles for free, it was a unique plus!
first I didn’t know what to expect because this hotel
costed way less than others, but when we arrived we
we’re surprised by the good facilities.
The room features a new bathroom and a very good
Smart TV. The location around the hotel is good there
are some bars and a supermarket around.
There is free parking on site and they give you towels,
sliders and other bathroom equipment for free.
very clean, wonderful staff, facilities very well taken care off, all is functional, cared for and the choice of equipment, accessories, toiletries, as well as the functional and organizational aspects are very well thought through, effective, and could very well teach an outstanding management and organizational approach to some hotel with more stars.
I can only sat: “outstanding”!
We are a family of 4 and got two connected rooms.
Breakfast was OK, but there could be a bit wider choice of warm dishes (e.g. eggs, sausages, etc.).
There is a nice pub with their own brewery just a short walk from the hotel.
Excellent boutique hotel with a personal experience and a very welcome stuff.
Amazing lake view.
Excellent value for money.
Pastoral place with farm animals.
Huge room with convenient and large beds.
Amazing staff and gorgeous hotel, props to the wellness zone and the cute rooftop.
We had much fun and enjoyed the stay, will definitely come back next summer.
Thank you and have a nice day!
Francesca from reception its the best, she was really nice, very kind and very prestative i loved her. The hotel its very nice. Just missing a pool there in terrace😅
We lived on the 3rd floor, the room was big and clean, there is free parking behind the hotel, the hotel has an elevator, and the breakfast is quite acceptable.
For a 3 star hotel, a very comfortable room, very clean.
All the staff were very helpful, and thank you, Christian, for suggesting to us to try the local gin!
