The views from our building 4 balcony were incredible. The views from the water looking at the facility were great. The water and sand were perfect. Breakfast was good but an omelet station would have been nice. Bar/restaurant/registration/cleaning staff were all very friendly. Drinks and salads were excellent. We both got a massage and that was a real highlight. The woman (sorry, I can't remember her name) was very sweet, professional and skilled.

The people are very friendly, that makes the difference, one lady helped me out with the bus ticket, she sold me one and explained to me how to get one. It is a beautiful place, with Monte Orlando for two hours of trekking, lovely beaches, and many restaurants, The bus from Formia costs 1.10 euros, past every 20 minutes near the hotel Mirasole. There are many trains from Formia-Naples. It is a great place!

Gaeta may not have the lure of the big city and is a few miles off the main rail station. However, there is enough wonder and beauty to get lost in awe of the winding medieval streets and an ideal location to take day trips to Rome, Naples, Pompeii, and the equally exciting history of nearby towns and castles.

Gaeta is really beautiful.
Gaeta is really beautiful. The apartment is along the harbour with amazing views. A short walk (10 mins) can lead you to a stunning beach. Turn up the streets to the side of the apartment which take you to a variety of shops and cafes. A real mix of Italian life.

A historic city of special charm, happily not very well known to foreign tourists (but liked by Italians). Good communication with Rome and Naples, lots of interesting attractions in and around Gaeta, great selection of restaruras with fresh seafood. Beautiful beaches.

Gaeta is a nice small city at the coast of Lazio.
Gaeta is a nice small city at the coast of Lazio. It has a great view of the sea and the mountains and also of the old town and the castle on the top of the hill. Both the old and the new town centres were charming and nice to walk in the narrow streets. There are not many big restarants here winter time, but mostly takeaway or a few tables outside of the pizzerias. The city is small and midday most of the shops and restaurants in the city are closed. It has a big and nice beach that is clean and with good quality of the sand.

Not a lot of restaurants in the beach open anymore in October. Not easy to walk to actual town center if you are older and have bad legs/physical condition. Buses run, but not always in time. Not easy to find time-tables through internet.
Very friendly host. Lovely large, recently decorated room and bathroom. All spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed and an excellent shower. Breakfast was on the roof terrace; cereal, croissants and delicious homemade sweet items. Location offered a number of places to have an evening meal nearby. The old town of Gaeta is a walk or short drive away and very interesting to explore. The alley where the B&B is located comes directly off the main coast road and parking is available nearby.
The hotel was clean and basic. Our booking stated a superior room and large balcony. Maybe the room we had was superior but it seemed to be quite small and basic and the balcony was small and overlooked the entrance to the hotel. However it was perfectly adequate. The location was good, near the town and very near the beach. However, the main plus of the hotel was the staff. Everyone was so lovely and welcoming and there was a lovely atmosphere in the hotel.
Perfect location in the historic area of Gaeta. Absolutely spectacular view from the window of our room and on the rooftop terrace where we enjoyed breakfast every morning. Lovely owner who was very kind and helpful with suggestions of what to see during our stay. B&B was quiet, sparkling clean and very comfortable. WiFi sometimes a bit unreliable but able to connect in the garden if we had difficulty. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend.
The location could not be better. If you plan to go to Gaeta for the opening night of the Christmas lights (2nd weekend in Nov) this is the placeto stay. We had a perfect balcony view of the fountain that lit up, played the music, and saw the local dancers, it was literally amazing. Walkable for a family of 5 to the hiking of the mountains and getting to the beachfront. We thoroughly enjoyed this spot. The balcony is the key to this location.
This is a spacious studio apartment flat located in old town Gaeta. It is completely new and modernized, with a fully functional kitchen (with Lavazza machine), AC, washing machine, and smart TV so that we could watch Netflix. All of these things are great, but they do not compare to the view. You can see the park below, a view of the castle, a basilica, and the sea. The host was great, perhaps the most hospitable host we have had.
Located in old town of Gaeta, surrounded with many cute restaurants, Gelaterias and coffee places. We highly recommend "La Macellaria", the best restaurant in Gaeta and around :). The apartment is cute, big terrace with nice view, bus stop is near. Serapo beach is 15/20 min walking distance. The apartment it's small but cosy, clean. AC, Tv, Nintendo :) Kitchen with everything you need.
The guesthouse is located on the side of a scenic hill and has a terrific view of the sea from the terrace. The breakfast is fresh and with several different options, and the owner will tailor it to your needs. The nearest beach is about 15 minutes walk and is quite conveniently located for the hotel. The rooms are clean and as you see in the pictures.
Great location on Via Indipendenza, a beautiful street which really came to life with a street festival during our visit. Comfortable room, easy instructions for arrival late at night, kind and friendly staff. There's a lot to see in Gaeta, though you are best with a car to get around to the sights (beaches, centro storico etc).
I liked everything- the rooms, clearness, hospitality, location everything was great. Only small things we were missing, - as it was the first place to stay upon arrival to Italy ,- we did not had time to go to the store department as arrival was quite late, and we missed some small, but essential things, like sugar, salt or tea
the staff was very polite and friendly. from the 1st moment on the hotel provided an outstanding service. the sea view was beautiful and a car was not needed to explore the near historic centre, the port and beaches. we are planning to visit Gaeta in May and we are going to stay at Hotel Gajeta again.
Perfect location - within 15 minutes you can reach both Gaeta and the Serapo beach. The apartment is located in a super cute street, we absolutely loved it. The apartment itself is very simple, but it has all you need. Very nice host, fast available in case of any queries.
Very good location for a week, Close to café, bars, restaurants and transport links.
There is a lot to see in Gaeta, Its an Italian tourist town.
Beaches Sharapo and Fontania are within walking distance.
They are excellent, sandy, clean and safe.
comfortable room just outside the historic center of Gaeta. lovely host. free use of the bikes if you want to explore (we didn’t because it was rainy!). simple but nice coffee and a pastry included as breakfast at the cafe nearby.
This place is an amazing location. They recommended to us a great couple of streets for local shopping. We were able to hike the mountain on Gaeta, and they have a great breakfast with eggs, fruit, cafe, and of course cornettis.
Everything was beautiful, the property is placed in a very beautiful place and is about 2 minutes of one of the most beautiful beaches in Gaeta. The owner is very kind. The breakfast at the bar was very taste.
Very close to the beach, best breakfast we had in pur entire Italy trip. Note this is a simple accommodation, an independent room in a home, but extremely well managed and serviced.
