I stayed only for one night of a business trip (September). Since I was on a very variable schedule, I had to be continuously in contact with the reception in terms of my arrival time - they were always available and very supportive (even though I arrived an hour after the maximum check in time). The hotel is on an excellent location by the sea, which offers the opportunity to walk - we walked on 7 am. Amazing breakfast.
The most important is the excellent building of the hotel - we actually reffered to it with my colleagues as "the mansion".
Featuring free Wi-Fi throughout, Houston is a 15-minute walk from Livorno’s centre. An Italian breakfast with hot drinks, fruit juice and pastries is served daily.

It was perfect for our purpose: one night on the way to the ferry to Corsica.
Room and bathroom are modern, clean, we have appreciated the possibility to open the window for fresh air ( not obvious on a higher floor) to dine and have a drink in the evening.
Parking is on site, not supervised, but we did not feel uncomfortable with it.
Situated on the unspoilt coast 20 minutes down from Livorno, Villa Margherita is surrounded by 4 km² of Mediterranean parkland and offers panoramic views over the sea.

In addition to everything in the hotel being spotlessly clean, with stylish decor, I particularly enjoyed the gorgeous front terrace. The scent of the Jasmine was divine.
Thank you.
Beautiful place.

I found the staff to be friendly and the rooms to be perfectly serviceable and clean. Since it's a three star hotel, one doesn't expect luxury, but does expect some comfort and cleanliness. The hotel provides those very adequately.
