Great, central location off of a charming square. Despite all of the activity outside, the soundproofing was really good. Decor was chic and room was very comfortable- best bed on our trip so far. Great shower as well. Lovely staff and tasty breakfast.

Very good location to visit the Syracuse-Ortigia and the Baroque cities Modica- Ragusa-Sciccly and Noto. We where in Ragusa Ibla, very cozy old Baroque city with good restaurants ( even for Michelin Lovers there where 2 restaurants with stars ) For doing the tour of the Baroque cities you need a car and to driving and parking in the narrow streets you have to kbe not sressy and concentrated. Also good for your work out , there are many stairs up and down in the city.

Ragusa itself is a beautiful town and very walkable, I'd recommend three or four nights to do it justice. As a town it feels like tourism is an 'add-on' and therefore feels very genuine and Sicilian as are the restaurants all of which we thought were excellent. The only downside is the public transport, to go anywhere outside of Regusa we found to be quite a challenge as basically you have to rely on taxis, however maybe the transport issue is what has kept Regusa such a beautiful place so its not all bad!!!

Ragusa is an enchanting hill town in rural Sicily.
Ragusa is an enchanting hill town in rural Sicily. It is surrounded by steep gorges, with the town spreading up three steep linked hills. It's a fantastic place to spend a few hours exploring the narrow steep streets. We found some wonderful shops - intended for tourists, but good value. There were also fantastic eateries and the local people we interacted with all seemed charming and helpful. We ate dinner in La Bettola in Ragusa Ibla, which was delicious and great value.

Ragusa has two parts to it, the old and new.
Ragusa has two parts to it, the old and new. The old city is very beautiful and interesting to explore. The main street is fun with restaurants, shops and a park at the end with wonderful views of the valley and mountains beyond. We did not go up the hill to the new city however so we cannot characterize it.

I loved Ragusa, the roads are difficult with a larger vehicle but this shouldn’t put you off just research your routes and think about where accessible parking can be found. The new town is interesting but not touristy whilst the old town is a lovely labyrinth of medieval street and lanes with beautiful Baroque architecture. There are restaurants worth searching for and we particularly enjoyed the ‘5 senses’!
The home is amazing and right in the center of Ragusa Ibla. There is a great café right next door to have your morning espresso and it’s surrounded by great restaurants throughout the piazza as well as the side streets. The room has air conditioning which is very important in the summer heat as well as a nice renovated bathroom and comfy bed. All that being said, the best part about this experience was Claudia and her family. They are so welcoming and helpful and such a joy to spend time with. Thank you Claudia for opening your home!
I recently travelled around Sicily with 4 friends and we enjoyed our overnight stay in this B&B. The location is very handy for the centre of Ragusa Superiore, with plenty of restaurants & bars nearby - but can also walk a little further to historic Ragusa Ibla.
The hosts are friendly and welcoming, and the large breakfast included some delicious home-made items. Communications were easy and they gave us some very good recommendations for restaurants. If I was visiting Ragusa again I would not hesitate to book this B&B.
Everything about this hotel was excellent. We were greeted on our arrival and guided through all information needed to maximise our short stay. We paid a little extra for staying in the one of the rooms with cathedral view and it was worth wile.
Hotel is in Ragusa Ibla and it is renovated old palazzo with contemporary twist with impeccable taste. Breakfast was just perfect with good selection to choose from. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Ragusa again.
Spacious room in a nicely restored hotel in Ragusa Ibla. The location is excellent, about 1 minute's walk to the start of Via Scale which leads to some fantastic viewpoints and on to Ragusa. It is also about 15 minutes' walk to Ragusa Ibla with its restaurants, cafes and sights, so ideal for visiting both parts of the city. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great. Would highly recommend.
Best location for Ragusa Ibla. Easy parking on the ring road and a quick walk through a passage built into the cliff and you are in the hotel. The back of the hotel has a door to the old part of Ragusa Ibla where, only a couple of minutes walk away, the restaurants, cathedral etc. are located.
Amazing bathroom and a good view over the valley from the room.
Lovely breakfast and friendly staff.
It was the best accommodation in the world! The most responsive wonderful hosts. Any requests were responded to immediately. They helped us a lot when the taxi driver dropped us off on the outskirts of the city. Excellent, very tasty breakfast. Lovely apartment, in the most convenient location, with terrace and views of Ragusa ibla. Thank you very much dear Francesco end family!
The host, Carlo, was just amazing. He sources all his food locally and prepares different regional dishes for breakfast each morning- his frittata is just beautiful!
He is very knowledgeable about Sicily and Italy( he is a local from Ragusa) and also speaks fluent English!
The room was large and well designed with a great view of Ragusa and very comfortable bed.
What a cool apartment overlooking the most amazing view of Ragusa Ibla- truly magical! Parking was very easy and we loved walking and exploring the area. Our host, Gianni, was absolutely wonderful. Very helpful with our arrival, gave us a thorough tour with good recommendations for dinner and he gave us the most delicious pastries… I’m still craving them.
The location was quite nice as it is right on the edge of the modern city and the Ibla. 2 minutes outside the door is one of the best views of Ragusa Ibla. The room is extremely modern, clean, and comfortable. Amazing shower. Very walkable location. The host was nice and helpful even when I texted to ask questions during my stay.
An apartment in a traditional house in the middle of the old town. Very good location - you're close to both Ragusa Ibla (5-10 minute walk to the Duomo) and the stairs to Ragusa Superiore. Free parking 5 minutes away. The house itself was nice and comfortable for a family of four, with all the facilities.
Luigi, the host, was very welcoming and helpful. The bedroom area was beautifully lighted and pleasing with stone walls, original to the structure. It is a short walk to the Duomo area and walkable to most things you want to see in Ragusa Ibla.
Perfect stay! We had an amazing time at Salvatore's flat. Comfy, clean and great location. The best view of Ragusa at our doorstep. Delicious breakfast too!
Highly recommend Le Scale Sul Barocco and Ragusa (our favourite town in Sicily).
The location was great, walking distance from the centre of Ragusa Ibla. We parked as they instructed us, and had a short walk to the hotel. Plenty of restaurants around, would highly recommend the salumeria on the corner!
The property was located in beautiful Ragusa Ibla. Rooms were very comfortable. Mattresses were absolutely wonderful. Emilio was genuinely kind and gracious host. Breakfast was delicious. We loved our stay!
We had a lovely stay in Ragusa. Free parking just across the road. Easy access to the old town. Great kitchen. Netflix. Very nice shower and a comfy bed. Best place we stayed in Sicily 😍 Would defo stay again.
Literally 20 steps from the best restaurant in the world, where we dined.
Location. Amazing. So central in Ibla, the best part of Ragusa by far.
Vaulted ceilings in local stone were a big plus
