The breakfasts were really good with plenty of variety. We arrived late on our first day, partly due to our inability to find this agriturismo. But our host was understanding and invited us to join the dinner, which by that time was well underway. We really appreciated his pleasant attitude, flexibility and the fact that he spoke enough English (and we enough Italian) to communicate. Generally, we found that this area of Puglia has fewer English speakers than in other areas in the north of Italy, possibly because fewer US or British residents travel here.

Very friendly hosts, perfect service!
Quiet place, spacy room, free parking & good WLAN everywhere, nice little pool.
Breakfast was very good.
Small, quiet village next to a lovely beach.
At the time we were there (early June) there was not much happening, but it looked as if it must get very popular later in the summer.
As the area is a little remote, it would be advisable to have your own transport. The drive to Lecce is short and easy.

The place is very used, buildings are in bad condition, unfortunately there are rubbish everywhere. There are no restaurants, nowhere to walk in the evening. EU support would make this place amazing, it looks like they started a rebuilding project. The sandy beach is very nice, good and safe for families.
Wowwww. I am a luxury travel advisor and stay in the best hotels all the time. Masseria Francescani is a very rare gem. Every detail is of incredible taste. The staff, including Rosela, Carlota and Gaetano were all so attentive and joyful. This is the best value I have paid for a hotel of that caliber in a very long time. And the food, inclusive breakfast is incredible and the optional dinner worth every euro. Bravo !!!
