This hotel was great— large, comfortable rooms, good beds, great shower, etc. We traveled for two weeks in Japan, and this was definitely the most comfortable we were in any hotel. Breakfast was good, too, and there was plenty of free parking on site. I wish all our hotels were like this one.

The breakfast was good for the price we paid for the room. The location was good given that we had a car and were visiting the nearby town of Mashiko. The staff were friendly and helped us get a non-smoking room for our second day. We had had to book a smoking room as the non-smoking rooms were fully booked. As there was a cancelation, we managed to get that non-smoking room. While we were out for the day, the staff moved our belongings from the old room to the new one and even remembered to move our milk from the old fridge to the new one.
