The only good thing was the receptionist had spoken English & tried to guide me to the property. Disliked · I paid for the room online over the Booking.com. The pictures of the property on the website were neat & looked tidy! But as i have arrived it was exact the opposite! The receptionist had to guide me to the property on the phone as at the time major renovation was in progress & scaffolding were placed in front of the property, which made it difficult to locate. The area where the hotel is based, looked rough, the carpets in the lobby were stinky & to finish the experience off, my room has been already sold to someone else, even though I have paid for it online! I got a cash refund & went out upset, as i driven for 3 days & was desperate to rest & now I was left to look for a room to sleep, last minute prices & availability in a city late night are a challenge for a tired traveller! I paid just under 200 Euros for a three-night stay for two people. This was a better price per person per night than hostels in Den Haag or Rotterdam. It is very easy to get to Den Haag or Delft by train from Rijswijk. The hot water supply was good and the water pressure was good. The beds were comfortable enough.

The front desk staff were persistent and were able to have one of our bags delivered to the hotel. The restaurant is located in a seperate building next to the hotel. The restaurant management and staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food (we ate breakfast and dinner) was excellent.

The location is great, nice view of the park and really close to Rijswijk station where one has access to trains, trams and busses. In general, it felt like everything was well thought out. The entrance hall is quite impressive and parking was really easy and very close to an elevator leading directly to the rooms.

The apartment was very nice with natural light, full kitchen, plants, and lots of space. Felt more like being home than a hotel or B&B. Staff was very friendly and how to say : it was overall very private (no one really there).
