Having a private plunge pool and the sea view from the terrace was just lovely. There were small snacks provided and hotel put an effort into breakfast including some diary free options. Wifi was good. We didn’t use the communal indoor pool but it looked lovely too.
Built in the 17th century, Solar Do Conde has large botanical gardens with ancient trees, and an outdoor pool with a bar.

The staff was nice and available to help us with all the issues and questions. There is a parking spot inside and just across the street, there is another one that belongs to the solar. It was so pleasant to hear the birds around. The sauna was just inaugurated, and we got to enjoy it. Internet worked well with no issues.

Very clean, enough towels, the host tried to give little extra that was not expected, very nice of him. It's 15-20 min walk to the airport so it's a good choice for a layover if you have an early flight, otherwise it's to far from the centre. I appreciated various bins for sorting the rubbish. Highly recommend Salgrosso restaurant, though it's a bit of a walk.

Sometimes the photos on booking make the place look better than it actually is, with this place it's absolutely the other way around.
The pictures don't do this place justice, it is one amazing location and an amazing room with everything you want. It felt like a little paradise just for us and we almost didn't want to leave the nest!
The staff were amazing as well.

One of the coolest places we've ever stayed! The location in itself is magical, and the bungalows give you the modern comfort you need, in great style and architecture. The host is very kind, explaining all there is to visit around the area. Nice basket of local goodies is included, as well as kayaks and bicycles to further explore the Lagoa das Sete Cidades.

Feteiras was a perfect location for us to get to the city, airport and the rest of the island. There is a little cafe that has all of the basic necessities in town and a 5 min drive has a great store, Casa Cheia, with almost everything that you may have forgotten. I would highly recommend people stay here.

As soon as you walk into the property, there is a VERY strong smell of damp/mould. It meant I couldn't sleep properly for the 2 nights we were there and I actually had breathing problems for days afterwards.
There was a huge dehumidifier in the kitchen and it had also recently been re-painted so the owners know of this issue and still are accepting paying customers, which is terrible as it's a health hazard!
We let the reception know and what they offered as an alternative accommodation was not relative. Also we only had 3 days on the island so didn't have time to be researching alternative places to stay. It was the morning so we'd opened all the doors to get rid of the smell. At night when all doors and windows were closed, the smell was unbearable and we felt trapped and unsafe.
I would NOT recommend staying in this property at all.
Anything positive about the property is negated by the black mould and smell of the property.
