The staff were excellent, very helpful both before and during our booking. Our room had a very comfortable, huge bed, good shower over the bath. There was a very nice, private terrace with a table, chairs and sunbeds. Sadly the weather was so bad, we couldn't use it! The room had a kettle and a fridge, which were much appreciated.
The spa was great. I was able to arrange a much needed massage at late notice after a long day's walk. The massage was very good.
Breakfast was good, but the breakfast room was a bit of a rugby scrum!
The hotel is close to the centre of Ancora, close to restaurants and shops.

And also the opportunity to walk in Span - a shirt crossing to Spain,

Excellent location, so clean and comfortable my only negative, and it really is minor, is that it was a very high climb to top bunk but once up there, so comfortable, quiet, clean and everything I needed to hand. I liked the layout of the dormitory, made it feel more private. Slept so well. Easy arrangement for the fishing boat over to Spain. Lived it here
