This bed&breakfast is a beautiful and unique institution because of its buildings, its host and the museum. It is full of local history, told by the owner. We got a great meal with local wine and spirits in the evening and a lovely breakfast. Visiting the museum is a must.

We stayed here one night in June 2024 in a Family suite with balcony. Our room had a double bed and a second small bedroom with 2 single beds. The room has airconditioning and a minibar. There is no water cooker or coffee machine. The bathroom is small and it is impossible to take a shower without flooding the bathroom. One light in the bathroom doesn’t work. The hotel has 17 rooms, a large parking area and large restaurant and a nice terrace.
The restaurant has an extensive menu and the food is good value for money, although we never received the Greek salad which we ordered.
WiFi is very good. The bed is ok but the pillows very disappointing.

Steaua Nordului is set in Târgu Neamț. Among the various facilities are barbecue facilities, a garden, as well as a terrace. Guests can make use of a shared lounge.
Inspiring and beautiful location. I do not know the village, its a place where you spend your time within the limits of its courtyard otherwise if you have a car you can travel to the sites around the place.
You need your own car to arrive in Tirpesti. I would revisit just to relax within the location's facilities, nothing else.
