We arrived much earlier that we had expected (around 11.30 AM). That apparently ruined a relaxed Sunday morning for the accommodation owner and his family, but despite us mentioning several times that we can also wait, they still ensured that we were able to check in within 15 mins. The garden is beautiful and we spent all afternoon lying under one of the trees on the lawn. Also, the ladies working in the kitchen were super nice.

From the very first moment we have been magically greeted by the host, who gave us the best tips to visit Vipava region with recommendations for restaurant, attractions. We had a really delicious breakfast and our food preferences have been taken into account. Also our room have been upgraded , so we had a really nice view. We have got a small gift in the end of our stay and ice cream during the stay. Those are small surprises, which overall incredible impression of this beautiful place to relax!

Room was clean, there is one outlet near the bed, and light inside the bed. The lockers are decent size, bathrooms are also clean and have all the necessities. I was alone in an eight bed room (seems to be a practise here to book a room for only one group/individual). Would recommend.

B&B nearby the wonderful Vipava valley in a less touristic part of Slovenia. The B&B is situated in small village in the mountains at the east side of the valley. It is based next to a road, but there is very little traffic. It is a very quiet, but beautiful and authentic area. The options for outdoor activities go from hiking (mountain) biking to paragliding and you can even book an bear spotting excursion. Or you can just relax and enjoy the view. The hosts are very nice people as well, we had a very friendly welcome. Being in a more remote location comes with a small downside, it takes 20 min by car to the nearest supermarket / restaurants. But the owner loves to cook and serves you very tasty home made dishes with homegrown vegetables from the garden at a very democratic price. The breakfast is also very tasty, with also here a lot of home made food that get you ready for the day. Very enjoyable stay!
