we didn't like the upper square (towards the bridge)...
we didn't like the upper square (towards the bridge) renovation. Too empty, almost no flowers or bushes, the circles are empty, only with grass, and trees are missing. In summer too hot and sunny. The flowers are missing. We liked the middle part with more green and big trees. The shops and cafes are nice. I like the old communist features, also appreciated the renovation of the old shopping mall in the upper part (the long building)

Same thing goes for the bathroom, where you actually get a large bath! The view from the window was nice as well. The bed was comfortable, the internet worked well, and the hotel was centrally located. I arrived early and the staff was able to get me a room. They also spoke English. Good breakfast, though a typical Slovak hotel breakfast.
