Large and comfortable cabin in a great location, 1.5 km up a mountain road. Plenty of space, all mod cons. Host very helpful. We saw a young black bear on our driveway!
Situated in Blue Ridge in the Georgia region, Love Nest in Blue Ridge has a patio and mountain views. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace.
We have been going to Blue Ridge for years. Much has changed over this time. On thing is it has always been clean, safe, and friendly. They have a variety of dining options across the spectrum in cost. The views are awesome. Hiking trails abound.
Some suggestions:
--Mercier Orchard
--Grump Old Men Brewery
--Black Sheep (upscale eats)
--Blue Coyote (eats with a local flavor)
--Visit the Lake
--Visit the Irish pub
--Take a winery tour
Relax and put your feet up!

WE went to Falls Branch to hike and see the waterfall. Amazing!
We went to the Blue Coyote for karoke and we all had a great time.
We ate at Mystic Pizza, the Blue Coyote and Chester Brunnenmeyer. The food was great everywhere we ate.
Getting around Blue Ridge was very easy.
The next time we would avoid coming in March. It was very cold!

I loved the ability to walk all over the town without having to get into the car every time. Not completely family friendly for an active 5 year old if not for the train and some other options outside of town.

As far as North Georgia towns go, Blue Ridge has everything you need. Even though it was very busy on Saturday we didn't really have an issue getting a meal or getting waited on in retail establishments. Sooo much to do, you need to spend a few days there to really soak it all in.

Just some info to help out in choosing your accommodations.
Just some info to help out in choosing your accommodations. The main (upper floor) has 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. We traveled with family that were unable to climb steps, etc so this worked out fine. The third bedroom isn't accessible from the main level you have to go out & walk down the steps to the play room, third bedroom (with bunkbeds) and bathroom. The attached playroom has a kitchen so this level is good if you are traveling with people but still want some separation from others (like teenagers or another family). The main/upper floor has the hot tub on the deck. The owners were prompt in responding to any question and even reached out to make sure that we were able to get in with no problems (we were).

Blue Ridge is a fun place to visit with lots of interesting shopping and dining options along the main street. The surrounding environs are absolutely beautiful and full of outdoor attractions. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Especially recommend Southern Charm which offers wonderful southern comfort food in a very pleasant atmosphere. Cantaberry Cafe is great for creative soups and salads and Yellophant seems to be THE place for breakfast. Plus the Sweet Shoppe bakery has delicious desserts of all kinds. Also recommend the Silk Road Traveler shop for an eclectic collection of books and gifts.
It was the perfect getaway for a couple. It's perfectly located in between Blue Ridge Georgia and McCaysville Georgia, so you can go either direction to find groceries, places to eat, and things to do. They are both very nice towns to visit and ride the train and lots of great food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The outside porch was great to sit, relax and have a fire. The covered part of the porch with the outdoor showers and hot tub was really awesome.
Fern Cabin was, by far, the best cabin experience we have ever had in Blue Ridge. The cabin was super clean, the views of the mountains from the back deck were stunning, and the entire experience felt like a true retreat. The beds were comfortable, there were thoughtful things like extra blankets included, and the hot tub was spotless for us to use. Great for our family of four and dog!
Quiet peaceful setting, yet close to town. Wrap around porches with beautiful mountain view, hot tub, comfortable beds, couches and patio furniture, large fire pit. Well functioning stove, oven and microwave. Owner very responsive and quick to help with questions. The town of Blue Ridge and surroundings were also beyond our expectation and filled with pleasant surprises.
Easy to find , secure gated commuity close to Blue Ridge shopping and food . Bonus : Rusters crowing and Blue Ridge train whistle, loved it. It was a last minute adventure and vary glad we found this cabin ! A cold spell came in and the gas fireplace came in handy, not to mention the big tv's to watch the NHL playoffs , Go Lighting !!
It was conviently located, cute and comfortable. Did not hear noise during the night and room had a fridge, and coffee maker.
Had a breakfast area with fruit, yogurt, bagels , muffins and cereal. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Would stay again.
Lovely cabin just outside Blue Ridge - stunning views from balconies at the rear of the cabin and everything was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Owner could not have been more helpful ahead of stay. Wifi also excellent so happy children
This is lovely older hotel that has been repainted and fixed up. Request a room in the back to have less noise from the highway and enjoy the view of the woods and enjoy the nice lawn area with picnic tables and fireplace.
My husband and I absolutely loved the location of the cabin and everything about it. It was our first time visiting blue ridge and we are definitely coming back to this cabin with family and friends. We enjoyed our stay.
We only spent one night here. We liked the location outside the city center but you would need a car to go back and forth to the town. Parking in downtown Blue Ridge is expensive. The room was clean and comfortable.
This cabin does not disappoint! It's clean, it's cozy, and the hosts go above and beyond to ensure that you have everything you need for your stay. Perfect for a getaway to Blue Ridge, and we would stay there again!
Cabin was beautiful & cozy just what the doctor ordered for a little get away with family. The proximity to Blue Ridge & white water rafting (Cherokee Rafting is a great service) were great.
Location was ideal. The staff was amazing and breakfast take away good. The much needed heat was super. Hotel accommodated my early check in without hesitation.
We loved the hotel - all around a great experience! The staff, the room, the rooftop restaurant - all fabulous. Thank you for making our stay a great one!
